Important

anyone know when the new bfg ko2's will be available...i had bfg mt's...they were great in most situations, but sucked in slippery terrain and were a little loud...the ko's were great on the road and were okay offroad. the ko2's look like a mix of the two. deeper side lugs with the ko pattern in the middle. i am looking at the duratracs, but they don't come in a lot of sizes...if they make the ko2 in the same sizes as the ko's and the km2's then i can get the size i want. i would be curious what the list price will be

November 1st it looks like. Unfortunately they are only doing a handful of sizes this year and it looks like the smallest rim size is 16". So you would have to do a 285/75R16 if you wanted a ~33" tire. Cool looking tire but expensive!

I ran some 33x12.50 Duratracs for a while, no complaints off-road and they were nice and quiet on the road.

if I were a tire manufacturer bringing new tires to market I wouldn't even bother making 15" sized molds.
it can't be a profitable market anymore. Everyone is going 16+

i need 16's...i will be doing a wj knuckle swap since i have a parts wj. don't think the calipers fit on a 15" rim. i want to run something with a 33x10.50 or so profile. looks like they will actually have more sizes available than the ko, but not right away :( they make a 255 85 r16 of the km2's. those would be perfect since they come out to be 33.1 x10. i will probably wind up with 285 75 16 since it seems like everyone has a tire in that size

I'd imagine that you'll se them in the same sizes as the km2.

same machines, different tread molds.

I like the A/T's...got a lot of miles over the years out of many sets....but I was driving when Kman was in a stroller :D

Cheese "white letters out bisches!" Man

My AT's are still kicking and i like them. the duratracs look like a shity walmart tire. but Kman is known around these parts to be a super homo, so he might know gey! :spin3:

Got back from vacation last night, I parked the car in the garage and am now driving the XJ. On the way home, I was looking forward to driving it again (wish I would have had it for beach driving but 2800 miles at 15mpg at best would have sucked).

I've seen a lot of bfg at/kos in E burnt on trucks. They are a Great tire for something that does not see a lot of heavy load/pedal.

Lots of good tires on the market for the same or less price then the new ATs. I like Coopers but running Mastercraft xat(think?) On my XL towing with good wear so far. The 99 XJ has 33-12.5-15 Cooper ST they suck on ice, work very well in mud and snow. They are no AT or STT but work ok.

Thats because when you started driving it was either BFG AT's or ground hawgs!!

Ya old bastard!

There is no truth to this. Your just jealous of everyone who isn't running tires that were designed in 1972

hankook has made a believer out of me. 15K miles on her ATs with a lunchbox locker in the rear and no terrible treadwear. plus they are magic in the snow.
