Important

Well since we have been on the subject lately of tractors I have a question. I have a tractor with a 20hp v twin briggs and straton motor on it. After I have ran it for a while and it gets hot and warned up it doesn't want to start back up if I shut it off. I have to wait until it completely cools down then it will start. It will turn over just fine but won't fire
compression; you needs more of it.

The liftgate bumpers. I need 4 if you find them.

Next I go to the pullapart I'll grab a handful. There's like 10 XJs there.

Re: Re: Important

Dirtbound is starting to piss me off. I bought their rear, lower quarter guards, that took nearly a month to ship, and I received them with out hardware. I sent an email Friday with no response, and another one today. I will give them till Thursday and I will open a PayPal dispute.

The lower quarter armor does not include the hardware, it is an option that was not purchased on your order. It has been this way for over two years.

I have been out of the office for the past week in Moab, and away from emails so today is catch up day...

Dirtbound off road responded...

A customer support staff member has replied to your support request, #135711 with the following response:

We have been out of the office the past week and away from emails.

The hardware kit is a $20 option for this item, it does not come standard.

We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please do not send another email. Instead, reply to this email or login to your account for a complete archive of all your support requests and responses.

This is bull shit. Why would you sell a part without the hardware to install it?

Never again will they scam me out of money. Never.

I get it that you were out of the office. I just bought bushwacker flares and it came with hardware. Every part I've ever bought for my jeep came with everything needed to install the part. Except yours.

We sell the armor cheaper without the hardware vs jacking the price up to include it. Thats why its an option.

Honestly we don't have this kind of trouble on any forum but naxja, its really making us reconsider our sponsorship in the future here and to see this kind of reply coming from a DAL and Chapter president is shocking...

Yes it would be easier to just include it but then you would be amazed of how often we got requests to buy it without the hardware... Thats why we offer all our hardware kits separate.

It doesn't matter if he's president Obama, you routinely screw around for a month or more before shipping out product. Your business practices stuck.

You think we plan to ship out orders show and late? We strive to get orders out as fast as possible, unfortunately we are a small shop still with only two of us currently working here.

If you understood what it took to run a manufacturing shop you to would understand the hurdles we jump though daily. Its not just as simple as getting more guys to jump on it, we have had more then our fair share of machinery slowdowns in the past. If we had to capitol to simply hire more employees we would...

Like I said it really feels like Naxja does not want us here. Maybe we should just move on and forget about you guys, it should would make for a less stressful day. I really see you guys as a bunch of web wheelers that only know how to complain.

I take my first vacation in over 4 years and get to come back to naxja being all whiny...

As a Dirtbound customer, statements like this are a slap in the face.

that is a sale flyer the hardware was not on sale therefore it wont be listed on a sale flyer.

So-Cals just don't get it....

Having never bought anything from DirtBound... if I saw that flyer and ordered something. I also would be pissed if it came without hardware. That is additional time and cost to a project.

I think if you're a business that sells XJ parts, it would natural that the majority of complaints about your business would come from the largest group of XJ owners on the Internet. They are your customer base. Who else do you sell XJ specific bumpers, armor and other things too?

My dad owns a small business. I understand the hurdles. The difference between you and him is communication. You're entitled to a vacation, but you own a business. You're on the hook for answering phone calls and emails even when you're not there, or at least making sure someone does when you're gone.

I've watched plenty of people over the years take phone calls in the campground and on the trail because it was a customer. They can go somewhere else if they want to, it's your job to make sure they keep buying your services. I was on top of Moab Rim last year listening to Goatman talk to a customer about steering tube size.

Dan is a frustrated customer that waited over a month for you to ship a product you claim is in stock. He's confused by your website and doesn't order the hardware. When he tries to contact you, he gets no response. His frustration builds to the point that he vents amongst his friends on a chapter forum thread and when you read it, you immediately label him a whiny trouble customer.

The same person that spent $10k on building a jeep last year, can't wait to tell you about the awesome companies he ordered stuff from and generally doesn't have anything bad to say about anyone. Your service was so bad he chose not to do business with you.

So maybe you're right. Maybe we're all a bunch of whiny web wheelers that you don't need. I encourage you to find out. Bet your reputation against our buying power and leave. Vendors don't run this club. There's plenty of places to buy bumpers from.

Good luck with those XJ fan shrouds on pirate.
