if the link says youtu.be: take the nonsense string after the / (Sh-dykr45bI in this case) and put youtube tags around it. If there are multiple things separated by equals and ampersands (like Sh-dykr45bI&t=1m45s) take only the nonsense string.
if the link says youtube.com: find the part that says v=nonsense&somethingsomething (for example v=Sh-dykr45bI&t=1m45s) and take just the part after v= and before any &somethingsomething=something that may come after it. Put youtube tags around that.

that figure was a legitimate repeatable number, GPS mileage since the speedo is wrong.
23.6 and 23.7 in consecutive tanks.
 
Not surprised, I got 23.13 in my MJ with an auto once coming home from nacfest. Had a 4.0, aw4, np231, two driveshafts, four axleshafts, spare radiator, engine hoist, all fluids, beer, camping equipment, and some other crap in the back.

The main fuel saving feature was the crippling hangover I had, it kept me from accelerating or decelerating quickly for any reason or making the engine any louder than it needed to be to stay above 55 and under 65 for the entire drive home.
 
I was carrying a d30 and a random box of parts.

The 87 used to get that kind of mileage, but it took some work. I was surprised this one did so well out of the gate.
I guess that's what happens when you bolt $500 worth of new stuff to an old 4.0 in one shot.
 
after getting income tax refunds, i went to harbor freight to get a few cheap things for the garage. my wife was suppose to come with to regulate. she decided not to come and i went with my BIL instead

That's some good mileage out of the mj. Was definately worth all the work you guys did to it this weekend.
 
Sam, that long breaker bar is worth every penny. Great for upper shackle bolts and any other leaf spring bolt breaking. I use those socket rails too. They fit great if you're going to keep them in a mobile tool box. If you got a 1/4" rail, it's a bit of a piece of crap. But the 3/8s and 1/2" work well.

Yeah I know, I got an order today too. Part of it will be here tomorrow, the rest will be at DrMoab's Tuesday so I didn't have to try and bring a sleeping bag along on my flight.
