Important

Re: Re: Important

Dylan...you will want to look at MIOBI, they have a few free events throughout the year

Looks interesting. Everything is quite a ways south though. I'm in northern/central Iowa, about a hour from the border.

Well after 10+ years and 2 name changes looks like I'm in the RED now.

Andy Stock is the name. I'm VP of Make It or Break It Four Wheelers in central(South) Iowa. Been doing the XJ MJ thing for long time.

Current stable holds my 89 XJ based 'buggy' 4.0/aw4/231 getting tons and 40 LTBs. A 93 2dr 2.5/5spd/231 locked, caged, PRP Pro Highbacks and 31s(built for tufftruck racing), and last is my 99 4dr 4.0/aw4/231 33" ST on 5" lift DD. And I tow with an 02 Yukon XL 2500 8.1.

Good to see ya in the red Andy. We are putting tons under JR's YJ, so we will likely need to make it to Dans for a "break in" run :D

Cheese "have not made it up for a few years now" Man

I did one with a upgraded intake, I noticed a bit more snappy throttle response, but not a huge difference. Did I notice a $50 difference???? probably as much as any other $50 add on I suppose. Just do it, if you dont like it, you can always get your money back out of it.

With a stock engine, i wouldn't waste my time. If it were a built stroker though, i would think the extra air coming i would benefit you.

I did the spacer at the same time as the bored unit, but realized the spacer was not bored so I took it off. I put a 99 intake on, the bored TB and a high flow air intake. It also had and APN header too, but no internal motor mods. Like i said, minimal difference, but maybe I had it in my head that it was going to do more than it actually did. Proably get as much HP gain out of some properly placed good stickers.

I did a spacer 10 years ago when it was the latest cool cheap add 10 horsepower and cure death wobble fad. It did nothing, but I sold it for more than I paid for it. So I guess it worked. Lol

rumor on the street is that you used that spacer as a c0ck ring.....nice work my friend.

Cheese "bored out" Man

Finally made it back in the gym at 4am this morning, after taking about 2 months off.

no weights, just running. i do not like running. i do not understand hardcore runners that claim they get a high out of it. it hurts, its tiring, it makes be gasp for air, it sucks.

i like weight training. i get a high from it. i feel great after moving heavy weight. lay me on the bench, put my face under a few under pounds, and crank up the music.

there is a debate between some of my fitness friends on weather you burn more cals doing cardio or weight training. cardio, thats what you burn right there. weight training, you are burning all day long because your muscles are rebuilding.

meh, i will stick to weight training.

good morning jeep fans!

The land is an hour south of DSM. It's a blast unless it's raining and even then it can be fun. I'll be posting up soon about our events in a different thread.

Thanks cheeze man! Figured I'd help the fight and still owe ya few cold ones

Spacers do basically nothing on an EFI rig.

A bored throttle body will improve things... if your MAP sensor still shows some vacuum at wide open throttle. I doubt it'll do much at low throttle, though it might change throttle response a bit.

I'm thinking about getting a bored tb for my jeep, especially if I do a stroker.
The renix one is tiny. Doubt it would make any difference but right now I have too much fuel (modded fuel system).
