10k cooler kit. Etrailer, amazon, etc. Usually run you 40 bucks. I have a stacked plate cooler because they're supposed to be better than a tube/fin cooler.

On the jeep it is just a spin on filter (m090 lol) and a cheap cooler in front of the radiator. I might put a bigger one on it.
Truck goes through a spin on filter, radiator then a cheap cooler. I have a supercooler (forgot what size) to put on it and might take the radiator out of the system. I don't like the idea that a thin copper wall separates all of my trans fluid from 8 gal of coolant, this is also why I don't like the 6.9/7.3 oil cooler setup (orings).

Does the c6 run hot?

33 and 4.56 is a good combo. 4.10s worked with 33s. stock gearing sucks with 33s...at least once you get gears you'll realized how badly stock gearing sucked.

I need to put a trans cooler on my Jeep, only uses the radiator at this point.

by the way at my school KCC a 70% is a failing grade.

70 and under F
77 - 71 D
78 - 84 C
85 - 92 B
93 - 100 A

I have about a 75

I never understood this... It puts you and your classmates at a disadvantage compared to students that come from other colleges with a more traditional grading scale.

One of my teachers explained it to us like this.

it started in the medical department in my school
...would you want a D(6O%ish) student trying to save you?

i guess it makes a little bit of sense but i think the scale is a bit rough
what sucks is getting an 83% or 84% and knowing thats just a C.

when i took AutoCAD my teacher graded on a type of point scale. we knew the points and we knew how many points it took to get to the next grade.
by the time the 100 question final came around i was in the low B's. I was looking at the point scale and saw what i needed to get into the A's. It was mathematically impossible. a 100% percent on the final would not bump me to an A. I did not take the final. he told me that it was fine because it would not affect my grade either way.

was interesting not even going into class.

Doesn't make sense to me when an employer has two identical students, whom have the exact same percentage of points, but the one who didn't go to KCC has a GPA a full point higher than yours.

Who are you going to hire?

I would take my money elsewhere. In the end you are paying for the paper, not some teachers who has a twisted view on who he wants saving him. You need to make yourself as marketable as possible.

In my opinion, GPA only matters for your first job out of college, then any position past that is based on experience. At least that is how it was for me. When I interview I never bother to even ask about GPA I am usually more interested in experience and hobbies you have outside of work. Hell, some engineers cannot even turn a wrench or change spark plugs...

This is the only thing I MIGHT consider going back to college for. Fire 1, emt-b, etc.

I picked up a cheap-o cooler a few yrs back right before WF from local store, $40 max. Zip-tied the whole thing to the plastic grill supports on the nose, plumed it in line after the radiator and then flushed the system with schaffers syn fluid. Fluid looks brand new to this day and my overall temp on my dash gauge dropped ~10-20 degrees (prob not accurate but the gauge sits in a completely different spot).

7.3 just got the rockauto version of the 6.0 cooler, I'll let you know how that works out in the next couple days...

Hankook ATM RF10.
superior on the road and in the snow. like magical snow and ice performance.
Decent in the mud at the badlands. We did not get stuck.
you will not find a tire that does everything well. pick the two environments you're going to be in the most (road and snow) and accept that they are not a true mud terrain tire. Mud terrain tires suck at everything except mud.

Priced these today at tire barn and they are priced right about what I wanted to spend on tires for five. Goal is by sept. to have lift and tires but as long as they are on by badlands toys for tots.

when your teacher has it mastered and teaches it so quickly it can bring the suck. luckily yesterday he could see the "deer in headlights" look on all of our faces and he did a bunch of examples.

I am not sure if i mentioned it here but my tuesday night class(basic circuit analysis)I am struggling a bit in. I have gotten a couple of C's in classes before but never a low D, which is what i have in this class.

how can you scare me even more? teach tells the class that everything up until this point should have been pretty simple and the hard stuff is coming now:shocked:

then he went into last nights lecture:helpme:

oddly enough i got it more than i have got anything thus far.
not sure why:banghead:

just for fun, because i know some of the nerds in here love it, here are last night notes

at this point i have fingers crossed on passing this class, so i can continue on to semiconductors, which i have been told is the much harder version of this class...

that brings back the memories. my school had the same grading scale as well. BRUTAL to say the least.

Mark "High2by" Morton is going to be the next National DAL BOD member. No one ran against him. There is a vote up in the national election booth, I think we should support him and make sure that he gets our vote.

I got 2 d's in college, one in probability and statistics and one in differential equations. The prob and stats one was a 11am class in the summer that I went to maybe half the classes. The DE class, well I could take that class about 8 times and probably never get it (didn't help the teacher was a dick).

I got three failing grades in college and had to retake those classes. I got a d in my science class (my worst subject) but since it was general ed, I passed enough to not have to retake it.

Hey Brian, how much does a set of no lift relocation brackets run? Since I will have to put new leaf springs on anyway, thought about upgrading those.

Way back, when I went to school for electronics (Z80 microprocessor was almost state of the art), the teachers would occasionally get to the point where they would have to say "You need calculus for that" , but it wasn't required as part of the program. I took it just for fun and managed to get a C. It did help that many of the examples were electronics related, and that the teacher was cool.

My school requires tech math 1,2,3 but they only offer them during the daytime.
if you cant make those then you have to take basic algebra, intermediate algebra, geometry, and college algebra. and i heard talk that they might say trig soon to.

kinda sucks that if you cant take the tech classes that they only offer during the day you have to take 1 or 2 extra classes to keep up. not to mention, the tech classes teach you in a electrical mind set vs regular math teaching you in math
on that note, 4year colleges do not accept the tech classes so if i plan to go further then i need the regular math.

so far i have taken basic algebra

I received 1 D in my collge career...that loooong, looong career. It was in literature. I hated the teacher, she hated me, it was mutual. She would inevitably always call on my for a complete overview of what we were to read the night before, I hated the material, so I didnt read hardly any of it. She would try to make me look like a dumbass in front of everyone, so I turned it around on her and when I would give an overview, I would just make shit up and include her as a story character. It was always where she was the witch, a hooker, a crazed killer or a psycho. She wanted to flunk me, but I was able to pull it out of my ass somehow on test day. She said daily activities and classroom participation was where she gave grades from. I did not fight it, it was a passing grade, I did not want to retake the class for more $ at the University, so I accepted it and then moved on. I saw her several years later after I graduated. She was at a resturant with her family and I caught the waiters attention and covered their bill...with a little note that said "from your #1 student who makes 10x what you do now! Hugs and dirty kisses, Tyler"

We still laugh about it to this day......its the little things in life I suppose. She told me that on my last test that I would never graduate or succeed in anything I would do in life because I did not take anything serious and I would ultimately be a liability to any employeer.....jokes on her now. .!.:D.!.

Cheese "stoopid ol' techer anyhow" Man
