customer brings an xj to the shop yesterday front end is making noise. the ring and pinion is frickin toasted. Doing everything by the book i come up with about 400 bucks worth of parts to fix it plus a shitton of labor. called the junk yard we deal with and we would have to charge about 500 bucks for a complete front axle. :shocked:

get out your suicide corad and jumper the discharge pump to 120. It will empty itself. I have experience.You guys suck for talking about this, my washing machine overheard it and tried to set itself on fire. All it managed was a really bad smell and some smoke though... and now it is full of water and clothes and won't work.
a 95 limited? sounds like perfect jeep. I need a 242 if it gets parted.

discharge pump will just have two spades on it. Way cleaner and easier than any other method.
