Important

Now to find a powder coater, ordered my Logan's Metal Products front bumper this afternoon. Wait for Ares Fab to send the frame tie in brackets for the rear bumper, then have everything powder coated tan hopefully. Hopefully have both bumpers and front hitch on by May. I want to start push starting sprint cars (it pays $50 a day I do it) around then. I figured have everything done at once on the front.

Should I keep my rear hitch for towing or can I tow with my in bumper hitch?

I would say a hitch in the bumper and a regular hitch would be a minimum, front and rear. Can't stack to many hitches on hitches.

Rustoleum.....much cheaper and easier to touch up later.

I'll be about 50' from my current machine but I'll be running a newer, cleaner machine. The guy that runs it now is extremely OCD......like bat shit crazy OCD and cleans the whole area with contact cleaner before he starts.....so I shouldn't have to clean it for a while.

Seems like everybody is switching jobs here lately. I have thought about it but can't really go anywhere for the pay and benefits I have now without going back to school.

Anyone have an idea how to deal with stuck/stripped tiny torx bolts on my front hubs?

I never had the torx ones strip, but the allen ones are a nightmare. Fortunately hammering a torx bit into them helps.

Either drill em out or hammer something in... the bolts are available on rockauto iirc.

I want to transfer to a different office, but it wont happen. My current supervisor is supposed to retire in 2018, but it can not come soon enough. I am looking into a position in Iowa if it will open up soon enough, and it is only a 45 minute drive from my house. I don't want to loose my Gov grade or benefits, so other jobs are not really an option. Living in this part of the world really has draw backs when it comes to good jobs. Either the bank, school , hospital or gov......everything else is pretty shitty.

I wanted to go to another state at one point in my life (Nashville, TN, the Carolinas, and Wisonsin was the top three). Even Indy was on my radar. I tried to get five jobs in Indy and didn't get four and couldn't survive on the pay for the fifth. Now with four weeks vacation, good pay, a home and a wife with a full time job here that pays well, I probably am not leaving. I am fine with that now. There is nothing wrong with TH to myself. Eventually I could see myself moving out to the country though (even farther then her parents place). I do want to go up in positions at work though and hopefully within five years.

If I ever do move, as long as I still employed here, as long as I stay within company, I get to keep my four weeks of vacation and seniority.
