The "tap" at autozone (unless it has changed...) is more of a thread chaser made out of cheese metal... do yourself a favor and get a real tap, the thread pitch is M18x1.5. Last time I tried to use one of the chasers all it did was make things worse.

So I got the "your membership is about to expire" e-mail from the forum a few days ago, but the members spreadsheet says I'm good till 2015. I sent MEMBERSHIP a PM but I can't receive a response since my inbox is "full" because I'm no longer red.
I'm in a quandry here.
But the good news is that in a week, I'll be in a quarry instead!
I ended up borrowing a real tap from a friend to clean up my mess last timeI bought one from the zone.
Used it on some messed up threads on the white ZJ.
I had to put a c-clamp on the ratchet to the other side of the exhaust pipe to get it to start, but once it started it was fine.

Looks like we got a couple inches of snow last night. Don't think it was as bad as they were saying
I looked and can't figure out the discrepancy...
The forum and roster do show what you say, not sure why there is a difference.

Thanks for looking into it, I sent him an e-mail. I don't really care either way, if an extra $30 resolves the issue I'm happy to do that.
Actually worked in the shop last night and got the Jeep ready for WF. Johnny Ray and I both commented how we actually forgot how nice it was to work on a jeep without any rust. Installed the Rugged Ridge front tow point brackets and hooks, installed a set of Ho's bolt in shackle relocators and installed a receiver hitch too. CB is installed and cargo tote is all that is remaining. Just going to change the oil on the Denali and load the trailer and we are ready to roll.

Glad I finished the jeep yesterday, cause its 12* and a couple inches of snow out there today.
Gonna double check all my requirements at the shop tomorrow and make sure I'm ready. I was hoping to get my stout kegged but I don't know if I can make it to the brewshop to get the co2 in time, we will see. Ready to drink around a fire!
