Ok quick question, if we are not getting the heat out of the HVAC system in the Jeep, should we look at replacing the t-stat or flushing the heater core or what would everyone recommend? Just not getting as warm as I think it should.
Check how hot the upper hose is. If it's cool after warming up, it's your t stat. If your upper hose is hot, you probably need to flush your core.
If you flush your core, disconnect both hoses, run water backwards with a hose, then push water out with compressed air (not too much pressure, you will blow the core), then with both core hoses up high, pour some CLR into the core and let it sit for a few minutes. Flush with water, then push water out with air.
