Important

whats up with that?

mac 'holiday?' gyvr

Because it falls on a day the park isn't regularly open.

Flexd' boss lady must have plans' XJ

Because management of RB changed hands within the DNR to Outdoor Rec, and they think they know how to run it better. All state parks will be open with no admission fee or gate attendant, Interlake will be open with no attendant, not sure why they can't keep it consistent across the board.

If anyone is a member of Redbird Foundation on FB or subscribes to the Indiana DNR Offroading page there is more info (and a lot of complaining).

picked up a NIB set of brown dog motor mounts with rubber bushings for the xj this morning and a new set of ubolts for an 8.25 and spring clamps for 2.5" leaf springs all for the whopping price of $75. guy had the mounts listed for 60 and all the leaf spring parts for $30. I was going to offer him $80 for all of it, but after shooting the shit for a while, he told me to take it all for $75. He had a shiny new subie legacy and a shiny new JK rubicon in the garage, so I don't think he needed the parts (or money) too badly :)

My springs look like s' s from the aal and I am debating going with a new leaf pack or a longer leaf from something else so I can make the most of my shackle relocation brackets. Anybody in the MWC used dodge van leaves? Im looking for 3-4" of lift if possible.

No more dented hood. I just need to two tone the fender.

96/97 are obdII so my guess is yes

mac 'but who really knows until you try' gyvr

iirc 96 is a wacky year for the CPS and it could be a round pin or a flat pin connector, compare em, it will work if it will plug in.

Actually 91-01 CPSes are electrically equivalent, only the connector changes, there's the cylindrical 91-93? connector, then the round-pin and flat-pin 94?-95?96? / 96?97?-01 connectors. One of the NAC guys had one fail a few years back and ended up wire splicing to put a 99 sensor into a 92 so he could get home, it worked fine.

I don't remember teh exact year breaks, it might be 95.0-95.5, 95-96, or 96.0-96.5 when they went round pin to flat pin.

OK thanks, my BIL is home for the holidays from mississippi, he is going to look at a no start 96 that the owner says has a bad CPS I was going to send him with my good spare to check it out and have him mail it back when he's done.
