Important

Just received the "PAID IN FULL" notification on the auction XJ. I am officially the owner, now I just have to drive out and get it. May try and do that next week after things settle down from the holidays.

Pretty sure I picked up those refurb batteries for you and Sean lol.

It was you wasn't it. I knew it was one of you Mansfieldians

I am thinking about picking up some duck dynasty stuff and wearing it to christmas w the inlaws tomorrow, her brother is an outspoken non believer......Pretty sure if I do this AND let them know I carry they will not invite me back......

My sister made some dumb comment on FB when that all went down, so I went out and bought a Duck Commander shirt to wear to Christmas :D She was less than amused when we were all at the house Friday.

Went to see if I could get my moms vans up and going, cleaned all the crap off the battery cables. Still no go, swapped battery in my Jeep to it, same thing it done before. I done as much as I can on it and have called someone to look at it sometime. I got too many things going on to worry about it anymore.

Sadly, this is the sound.

If it is making that sound, it's toast. Last thing you could try (sounds like you gave up though) is put a socket on the crank bolt and see if you can turn it by hand.

Did you say 2005? Is it a Freestar or Windstar?

Either 04 or 05 Windstar, it was close to the year they stopped making them.

congrats JR
JUST and FYI
having been part of TORC and RRC with this guy at the helm, his , undoubtedly air force honed, leadership skills lead to great rebound in our club and chapters numbers and participation. He is a great asset to have on the BOD and hope he does as well for you all as he did for us.

Good luck JR, welcome back to the madness

This was the closest we have seen a race with that many participants in quite some time. Congrats JR on the win, and thanks for the others for running.

My day...

Lynn got home and asked what I did today. Told her I bought the safe, she asked how much and her response was, "I thought it would be more than that".

Also remember that gun safes may not be thermally approved for paper, media, magnetic storage, and optical media... and this also depends on how long the fire burns near it.

Look into that before you trust every electronic document you have to one.

Me, I recommend offsite backups. It's not that hard - get two cheapish external hard drives, some decent backup software. Every week, swap the external connected to the computer and bring the other one to work, put it in your desk or tool drawer.

My wife just told me she asked her mom for a DustBuster for Christmas, that's right folks she asked for a vacuum.

True story, I love this woman.

Merry Christmas Eve Jeepers........
