Important

Me too.....but I'm just gonna sit on the couch, eat a sammich and watch Archer.
New season starts in January!
So far we have about 8 inches ish up here. This morning on the way to work there was about 4 inches on the ground.

I put 2x6 box in on mine. Cut the rockers out at the bottoms last bend in the door jam area then flush with the pinch weld. Set the box tube in and angled it down a little bit. Then welded 1 inch angle iron on the box tube and to the factory pinch weld. So far so good.
Now I really need to finish the floor on the drivers side.
Pretty much what I did with mine but I didn't use the angle iron. Tack welded a pulling bar to the pinch seam and pulled the remaining sheet metal up to the 2x6.

I stopped cutting at the front and rear of the original rocker and kept it boxed in on the ends. IIRC, it was a shade over 5' of length on each side. Pretty sure I ordered 12' to get it done and had scrap.

We're in the teens without snow. We got about 2" Tuesday, but no more since. With it this cold, I'd prefer the snow.

There's close to 10" of snow on the ground here.....I hope it melts overnight.

Is it mean to say we don't have a drop of snow on the ground.

We got nothing here as well...

mac 'this is two snows south of here' gyvr

I hate snow. I need to live in the south. But then I wouldn't be in the mwc. I will deal w the snow.

It was 70 yesterday... 50 today. The downside is people drive like idiots at the threat of anything dealing with cold water.... People lost it because it rained more than usual today

Short"no snow no salt"xjdoug

not that i need to be thinking about this at all since we haven't even closed on this house, but i was browsing permits and such in the area that we are living...

if you already have a 2 car garage, would would be a good shop/garage size to have in addition to that? 24 by 30 is 720 sq ft...over 750 is a different permit.

Don't go any less than 28' wide, 40' deep will allow you to stack two deep. No matter how big you go it won't be big enough.

Doesnt really cost anything but time. I knew it was going to need a motor swap and the spare is sitting in my brothers garage ready to go.

One of my intake valves decided it doesnt want to seal anymore.

Dont think so. I was kinda beating on it tonight. And I added 11gal of diesel today so Flos nasty red fluid is prett diluted.
Motor swap will start next Friday. Think Im gonna drive it till then. Maybe its just a stuck valve and it will work its way loose by then. Dont know, dont care. Sounds like absolute hell but it still runs decent (with one dead cylinder of course).

See you Tomorow. I have beer and Fireball. :D
