Drum brakes suck, but suck less with the proper tools. I have shot springs across the shop trying to get them in place with a screwdriver and pliers :D

I always buy the hardware kit when I do drum brakes for the above reason, that and it is so cheap why not start with new stuff?

X20. I don't mind drum brakes at all. I own the right tools though. Spring pliers an the little spring cap compression tool (dunno what it's really called) make it a 20 min job per side.

If you want to use my jig just pay shipping to send it to the next person that needs it. I think I'll be sending it rews way Saturday so get ahold of him if you want it next and he can send it to you.

Well first test/interview went ok. I need to speed up my typing since I'm never on a computer it was pretty bad. My spelling could use work too.

Hopefully I'll get a good email next week asking me to come back for the next step.

Well my 18 year old nephew got an XJ. A somewhat clean 99 sport that has a power drivers seat and the OC? It's got good floor pans, and good rockers, but there is some holes in the rear lower quarters, and for some reason the rear bumper is all rusted out. Sad to say, but I wander how long till it's a scrap heap. Oh well more parts for me I guess.....

It's about to get messy here. Might get to sleep in tomorrow!

Don't you drive a jeep? why would weather stop you?

when we had a big storm in Peoria a couple years ago I was the only engineers to show up to work, all my co-workers thought I was crazy then they realized I drove a lifted jeep

Oh, I can make it to work but state of emergency means I don't have to go in. It's not the jeep that has problems, it's the cripple on ice!

I'm betting half mine don't show tomorrow, a couple could lose their job if they don't show, here's hoping they don't show.

hopefully it is warm in the morning

Why on a gas motor? I don't see needing that until very far into the negative temps.

Few years ago when we got like 14 inches in one night and baddddd drifting. I was the only one at work besides one other guy, he rode his snowmobile. I volunteered to drive around and pick people up but they just told mW I could go home if I wanted to.
