I had to listen on my battery poweres radio. That was tough, felt like I was in the 50s. Fell asleep like 4 times.
I would probably not have been a football fan back in the day of radio broadcast.


Power has been off going on 5 hours and counting.....



Side note, I have never garage kept a daily driver car before. With the cold weather last week we decided we want to keep the car in the garage so it is easier on the baby when loading up at 6am. So yesterday I get to work and turn a normal junky garage into a car parking spot. Today I pull the car in to its new home.


Now there is no power and the car is trapped....
 
60+ mph winds swept through here. That was intense. Nothing loss damaged at my place. Too dark to see the roof too see if I have shingles missing.
 
Loaned generator out to her sister and family...235 lbs of frozen deer meat...hopefully I get some snack sticks yum!

All good here so far.

Sam I have battery back up on my garage doors...it's awesome...50 ups and downs with no power.

Pull the release on the door opener,(should be a rope hanging from follower) turns it manual.

Yea I knew there was a way but I couldn't remember what it was. Thanks.

Now the fun part is going to be how cool is it going to get in here tonight.the part that sucks theoat about this is having a 6month old here. If it were just the wife and I we would just deal, but I have to keep this baby warm and fed.

The power is out in my little part of town because of 3 problems.
2 power lines are cracked in half and a tree laying on another line.

Comed is not giving an estimate.

Facebook and naxja is all I have. And my phone is getting in the red.
 
all is good here in Berwyn. Washington got hit bad!
