I has a truss...well almost. Started to heat the center section to weld it and I ran out of gas. Poo...well tomorrow I will finish and paint it...then the carrier is coming out and it will get delivered for new gears and an arb.

I'm heading to the pick and pull tomorrow for a handful of valve springs. I will be tickled if I have a good running xj again tomorrow.

How far does that truss stick up above the punkin?

If I were measuring it and relating that to info I have used with Camille, I would say about 27 inches.

It sits a little high, but the pumpkin on a 44 is pretty little. I'm going to be about 5" in the back so we will see how it does

I just looked at the pic and it makes it look way high than it actually is...though it is a little higher than most I've seen

Don't know how many of these you guys have back there but these new LED billboards. Every time I drive past one and they start flashing I'm sure there is a cop behind me.

Drummond is definitely a place to go for scenery and some wheeling. We didn't make it to the ORV park due to time. But I hear they have some serious stuff in there.

Good god...why does no one on earth have valve springs in stock. Dealers are on back order, jy will only sell a complete head, the machine shop we stopped at only had ones that were too small. This is the hardest cheap part I've ever tried to track down

How do you cut down spouts? Sarah bought two 10' ones that need cut in half for the house. Reciprocating saw?

metal blade on most saws will do it or a good old fashioned hack saw. too much power can distort or crush those down spouts b/c they are pretty light.
