I have one on my jeep and a certain piece of the exhaust has fallen off.... It doesnt sound very good, at least not in the cab, I dont know about outside.

The writeup I was reading where I found the part number said it was a 12$ part, I did a bit of googling and couldnt find it under 173. Screenshot I posted is a price request from the dealer in Midland. Dont know what the deal is...

Fore 'need $ for Moab' Wheeler
 
Cal got ahold of me the other day needing the little nylon vent tube piece that plugs into the top of an AW4 trans. He was taking his out of the naxja race jeep and it snapped off. He said he checked and nationwide there is seven left the country. Jeep wants just shy of $300 for one.

As the stock goes down, prices go up. It's a good time for guys like me (and Dan) who like to sell parts.

I sold the little plastic piece that goes behind the rear washer motor that has the nipple on both the outside and inside of the hatch a few weeks ago for $25 bucks. The guy said it was an item Jeep no longer carries and they are impossible to find. I told him name his price, he said $25 and I said sure...why not. His offer, not mine.

while your at it, if i pay pal you some cash...wanna make me one too :) i am going to put my durango box in once my motor is out.

i have decided that i'm going to hopefully pull the xj from road duty and buy a driver on the cheap for me (still saving for a baby mobile) so that should allow me some time to do slowly install the motor so i can change things that should be changed while the motor is out. fortunately the bottom end was rebuilt on the donor motor so i shouldn't have to do the rms...im also going to clean the shit out of my engine bay and try to put front stiffys on while i can. so i started scouring clist for an mj yesterday...we shall see
 
Dan not a fan of the JCR i take it..

bought my spacer from C-rok long before JCR ever made one.

I found one for like 8 bucks brand new years ago, I don't remember where. Think it may have been discountjeepparts or teamcherokee. These days it looks like the source is jeep4x4center: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/mopar-rear-wiper-washer-bezel-with-nipple-55000302-m.html

That's for 96 down, 97 up is 55154942 and I can't find it anywhere. I don't see the late model ones break off as much as the early ones though...
