Important

Actually I lied, they don't even make the one like what's on my arms anymore, I do have some new plastic races, I'm just going to try and replace those and see were i end up.

What does everyone recommend for joints though?

Owning both cummins and psd which one do you like better power and economy wise? What kind if mpg do you get on both of them?

The Cummins is honestly better on power and economy. Both my trucks had exhaust and intakes, but neither are/were programed. (the Dodge may have a custom tune, I honestly dont know, but there is no programmer unit on it) The best I ever got out of my PSD with oversized 18's on it was 17mpg and that was keeping it under 65mph on the trip. My Cummins has 19.5's (so it iwould be comparable to the PSD)on it and I continue to get 20mpg+ empty and have got as good as 24mpg when going to Des Moines and keeping it under 65. When we pulled a 28' camper across Missouri earlier this summer I got 17mpg on the trip overall. If I had been using the PSD I would have got about 9mpg.

I disliked the Fords interior b/c I had always had GM products prior to that, but the Ford grew on me (the 08-up interiors like macs are sweet)...to the point we had 3 at one time. The Dodge interior just simply sucks. If you want a good and comfortable interior, GM's or newer Fords are where it is at. I buy trucks to use them daily as a work truck, so I treat them as such. We keep a "nice" truck or car for travel purposes, but trucks are just another piece of machinery around here to us.

Trying to stay awake...

Walked through wally world tonight...

They have winchester 5.56 rounds for 12.50 a box of 20...also a few boxes of hand gun ammo and .22...

mac 'haven't seen anything but shotgun shells on the shelves for a long time' gyvr
The 5.56 is a good price! I've been seeing Winchester .223 on the shelf for a long time. It just sits there because nobody wants to spend $21/20rds. Brass or not...

Hopefully that good fortune finds it's way here. I'm running low on everything.

I need to stock up on some 9mm. i havent been looking because i have enough to lay down at least 2 intruders if need be. but i want to go shooting one of these days.

I picked up 150 rounds of 9mm on Saturday for 14.96 a box. If I had the money, I would have bought more as the shop had about seven more boxes then and they still say they are still in stock.

We are always looking for 9mm and .22lr around here. Very rarely does it show up on the shelves. Last time 9mm came around we bought the max we could get at walmart for that day which was 6 boxes. I've talked to some gun brokers and they were telling me that we should start seeing more .22lr coming out within the next year. They shut down some of the other lines to put the brass towards .223 and .40cal ammo. Atleast that is what they told me.

Just picked up 100 rds of 45 for 40 at walmarts, little expensive but gotta pay to play. They had 30rd American eagle 223 packs on stripper clips for 14. I missed 22lr by about 5 minutes.

I got my control arms in the mail today from New Jersey. Now I just need to get a few little things and a day or two in a row off of work and I should be ready to lift the jeep 2" more up to about 4" total. Now I have to shop around for tires, 30's don't cut it..

Got a quick question...

I'm installing an ARB locker and I just finished it up. There's no gear oil but when turning the shafts by hand this thing ratchets pretty loud unlocked. Is that normal for a new dry ARB?

Put gear oil in it and check again, I wouldn't be spinning it dry.....hopefully arb oiled the seal good.

Called them up, they say its the gear design they use it that specific model. They say its normal. Good enough for me

Going to look at a warn xd9000 I found on Craigslist tomorrow morning. Hopefully it follows me home. The price is right

Trucks are meant to be worked hard.

My megacab had a goose in it and only towed one goose trailer to Moab and back in 08.

I took the cheapie goose that was in the current truck and put a b&w in it.

What did the rest of the truck look like?
