hah, that must be the millionth one like that that I've seen.

Coming up this way anytime soon? I'll slap some booger welds on it if you don't feel like doing it. I have like 4 stock ones in the shed with small cracks, so when I need one, I just throw a weld over every crack I can get to and put it on. Repeat as needed.
 
yeah...despite what people say, a lot of them do break. ill admit, part of me is staring at the welder right now, but the other part of me knows i have fat arms and that i REALLY hate changing manifolds on these motors :(

i think imma buy a new one. they have one in stock at the autozone here in town. im going to just finish the long arm install and work on some other stuff for now
 
On the other hand I have gotten 19, 20, even 23mpg with cracked headers. I just ignore the noise till I'm in there for another reason or it gets really bad, generally.
 
i am trying to remedy a cel and an engine that is running INSANELY rich...so much so it turns your stomach in the cab. apparently my buddy whos shop i inhabit has a connection at the local parts store and gets 50% off...so they have the flexy pipe style ones in stock. they open at 8am tomorrow so im hoping i can get it taken care of asap and be back on the road to the inspection station by noon...tomorrow is my last "grace period" day for emissions inspection, so if i cant fix it, ill take a bus to work tomorrow and it will sit here till i get a header for it...no biggie
 
also...someone please pm me and remind me to check the bolts on my long arms tomorrow before i drive this thing...ever since melissa go pregnant i havent drank much, and tonight i'm have a bottle of beam into this repair...

and ordered an oil pan cause mine is rusted! out...

going to be swapping in a reverse cut D30 from an XJ so no better time than when that happens to do the oil pan...

Not grumpy really just drama annoys the hell out of me, if I wanted drama I would sit around and listen to my wife, her sisters, and mom talk.

That would be bad ass!!! Plan it out, I am sure the wife would want to come though, she still can't get over the keller edition Commander:confused1
