Important

Glad the ac works great. Except for the condensation leaking into the passenger side of the jeep. Whatever. More importantly, locker and 760 u-joints are in and it's ready for the crawl.

Check your condensation drain, it's probably clogged with debris. ZJ did the same thing.

Supposed to have someone coming to look at the ZJ this week, may have to make a mad dash to OH to have a rig for the Crawl!

Wonder how much difference there is between 3.55's and 3.73's. Might have to pull the cover off one weekend and check it out.

In my opinion its just as easy to pull the carrier out and put the lunchbox locker in.

You have to pull the shafts to put one in, so if you are doing that you might as well pull the four bearing cap bolts and the 10 or so ring gear bolts and do it.

Ring gear bolts are 45 lbs and bearing caps are 80 lbs of torque (I think).

Swapping in an HP 30 into the little jeep this weekend and putting all new steering and an adjustable track bar and jk shocks. Should be good as new.

Well I've already had both shafts out so everything should come apart with no problems. Guess I need to invest in a better torque wrench before I do it so I can torque everything correctly

Looked at a house today, 1.5 acres of land. Back yard ends at a forest line with no homes for miles behind it. The bad part was that the house was 129k list, owners said they would go down. The house was okay, but it needed work. Sarah and I decided to not pursue it because of the price. Somehow I remembered about a friends house for sale. It was down about 5k from the original list price. I messaged them on facebook and asked how low they would go. After talking to Sarah, she is going to see about being pre approved for a home loan. It is closer to work, I could even bike to work (once I get my bike fixed), and I know the home is in good shape. I would live in it until Sarah and I get married. This is the house.

I would much rather buy then rent, but we never really talked about buying until today.

I am hoping to buy an air compressor and air tools from the first house possibly (and a few other things)

you could go sledding off the back roof...

I just refi'd a couple months ago...ok last year with a no appraisal mortgage (paid too much for my house and it lost 15% of value in the mortgage crisis) at 3.75...on a 30 year note.

If I could've done a 15 with an appraisal I could've got below 3...

I'm glad we got our mortgage locked in when we got our house. Think we got locked in at 4.125% which I didn't think was bad. Course we are looking to get a new house in a couple years. Need to get a place with a garage.

Finally got to sorting through and posting some stuff up for sale. I still have so much to go through that is in my storage unit which I hope to get to next weekend. It is time go get rid of some stuff that I just don't think I need to sit on anymore, especially all the 96 and older xj stuff.
