I go fishing and a tech thread breaks out....My lock right has worked good. Makes a little noise under normal conditions. I hardly use 4wd unless it's deep snow.

Dan I would just put a lock rite or an Aussie in it and be done. That is what i'm gonna do and it is on the cheaper route as well. I have seen them last very well under Jeeps that get wheeled hard. A selectable would be nice but I could spend that money on other parts. Heck for the price of an arb locker you could do a lunch box locker with upgraded shafts and be close to that price.

Putting bj's in my 30. The lower comes with a snap ring. I have it all the way in there and there is no way that ring is going on. There was not one on there before. Do I need to do something different?
