Important

Why is that such a trend? I blame the Germans. When I hauled cars for a living I always got pissed every time I got in a BMW or a Volkswagen. Now it seems to be the norm.

I know that you hate fords...but I have bought my last two trucks based on the fact that they have ford interiors...so comfy...

They still have hard seats. Maybe not the trucks but some of the cars. My brother in law bought a new Edge and the seats are like bricks.

No worse than any other car. They all suck these days.

My parents have an edge and its as comfy as my f350...and the 450 that I had.

Rosco has a 00 f350 and its comfy too...

Want hard...the 06 dodge megacab I had would cause you pain over a long trip...stiff as a board to colorado a few years ago...

I went to koh in an 09 chevy in 11...those seats weren't any better either...

96\97 powerjoke seats aren't too bad.

But they are older. Dunno, hauled cars for a living for a lot of years. Just seems to be a trend with newer vehicles. Especially European and German junk.

And Mac, no argument here on Dodge seats. I didn't like the ones in my 05. We took the covers off and added an inch of high density foam. Worked wonders.

It was still light years ahead of newer VW's though.

I agree with it being a Euro/Jap influence thing. My Expy seats are nice, the ZJ ones were also. The wife's baby bus seats are okay. But the Hyundai/Toy/Honda junk we get as rentals for work, suck... I can't imagine how bad they would be if you had anything in your back pockets.

There's a 5.9 and an Orvis, both with decent condition seats, sitting at a yard near me right now. If I had $200 to blow on seats right now I'd already have all four fronts in my living room.

spent some time in California in the mid ninety's, I was driving a 325i convertible, the only thing I remember about that car was how hard the seats were.

Macs seats are much harder than the seats in my Tahoe.

lazy boy needs to give all the automakers pointers on making comfortable seats

A couple of 2x4s and you got a couch...
yep... or some angle iron, welder, and the bases off some old&busted free office chairs and I have some awesome bar stools!

I kept the bench seats out of my van to make couches out of when I scrapped it. They're really pretty comfortable.

ZJ 5.9 seats are the best seats I've ever sat in! Corvette under the hood, Cadillac on the inside, Jeep body. I love that jeep.

Worth repeating.

We just drove our 5.9 an hour to her dads house. Comfy interior.

My f350 is only second because it rides like a truck when empty.

My job is not unlike the job of the Easter Bunny. I too deliver horrible food to under motivated fat kids in the US on a day that has nothing to do with rabbits and candy.

Hoppy Easter MWC!

Our '11 renta-wrangler had some really uncomfortable seats. Other than that it was pretty nice, definitely a challenge wheeling a stock 4-door though. Made use of the skidplates more than a few times...

My 96 ZJ and 02 Avalanche seats are awesome, the seats in her 02 Mazda van aren't terrible, but the seats in my '12 Charger company car are hard.
