Important

Got the trailer moved last night (boy, that was fun) I will do the passenger side bearings today. I did notive the rubber cap on one of the older ones has a big crack in it. Funny thing is I think one of the rubber floor plugs from the xj is about the same style/size so I might try and get that to work, or go to northern tool after school and see what they have...

Phil has a Spartan Locker for a d30 for sale super cheap... Trying to figure out how I can pick it up...

all this talk of trailers reminds me of why I don't have one.
I need the ramps though. Hopefully this is the last time I ever need them. new deck will be lower and dovetailed.

I've installed a D30 lunchbox in a campground.

in the dark

in Moab.
So, totally not a problem.

If you pass on the locker let me know!

You don't have to explain to me (or a lot of other people around here, I suspect) about using the right tools for the job.

"We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, have been doing so much for so long with so little that we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."

And right now, I'm trying to stifle the urge to go stomp a mudhole in someone this morning (not here.)

i feel you...i just spent the last hour and a good few hours last night setting up the other technicians system and computers to run and display properly. just like any industry, there are some guys that get on job sites that don't know what they are doing. he is a buddy so i helped bail him out, but he is an audio guy...not a video guy. i luck out being an audio guy who gets stuck doing video and lighting work all the time. i just won't be able to bail him out once the show starts

I think I met him at WF'11 at the fire.

What's he want for it?

Yup, that'd be him.

I just got the $100 back from the junk seats I got at the salvage yard, I bought the locker.

It was a brand new spartan, still in package. $250 It wasn't a super deal, but its exactly what I need...

Too bad I'm not going through E.C. on my way to WF, otherwise I'd bring it and install at the campground...

Work truck blew a turbo. Dispatch said to keep moving until its dead then they will call a wrecker. Top speed 30 and leaving one hell of a smoke trail. Sometimes I wonder how a logistics company can operate with management that has no mechanical knowledge what so ever.

I will be qualified to be a logistics manager when i graduate... come work for me :D

or maybe the cost of the engine is justified to keep you from being a sitting duck

In a armored box and heavily armed. This is a duck fortress lol. Boss says a transmission is on its way with the mechanics. I told him that's nice but I hope he has a turbo too.

Can you talk on the phone and not be stupid at the same time??? You are overqualified to be a logistics manager....

So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place... I was going to borrow money from the 'rents to pay for fuel down to WF and back... Dad just found out that they want him to go full time (been working part-time at local YMCA doing morning housekeeping 4:30am -9am), which will include a lot of tasks he probably will not be able to do (shovel sidewalks, use ladders, get trained in CPR), he's 67 going on 68 and has the onsets of Parkinson's and alzheimer's... Chances are he will not be able to do some of these tasks so they will move this other guy to full time and fire dad. Obviously I'm paying the money back, but it just doesn't feel right...
