austin, im sure you probably checked it...but i totally missed it on mine and other than the dying and not starting, i had some problems that were weird as hell....have you checked the fuse and the wiring on the 02 sensor heater circuit? i thought i had a fuel pressure problem...then i though it was the iac, then i thought it was the injectors, then i thought it was the tps, then i thought it was the cam pickup...

then someone told me to check the circuit wiring...had a bad wire and a blown fuse...symptoms went away 100% instantly and hasnt missed a beat since...no more stalls, hesitation, pinging, erratic idle or long cranks. it doesn't sound like you have the same symptoms...but i about drove mine off a cliff the morning before i figured out what it was.

Bought some used 2" Old Man Emu full leafs and coils. Excited to get them in but damn nervous about the leaf bolts.

On another note Safelite has been here twice with the wrong window for my work van.

HAVE FUN WITH THAT! We ended up cutting the leaves off, cutting through the bushing, prying the sleeve to where it was loose then the bolts backed right out.

2007 F150 5.4L Crew Cab 4x4
2007 Ram 1500 5.7L RWD
2006 Jeep Commander 4.7L 4x4
2005 F150 5.4L Super Cab 4x4

I figure any of these would have the possibility of towing the pile. I'm eyeing the Ford and the Jeep personally...

Monday night Travis, broke his transmission and transfer case.
Broke, as in I could reach up inside the cases and pull out parts!

I asked him how he did that and he said he was driving down the freeway and it went pop and started vibrating violently.

Has to be more to it than that....

$2200 to fix.

out of all of those the fords are the best option.....though im not really a fan of any of them. Ive towed some serious loads with a 1/2 ton ford and it handled it well.

run as fast as you can from the chrysler shit...

the 5.4 3v is a good motor, just has that spark plug problem.
