Still on the fence about buying my dads. It's a seriously nice ride. Just not sure I want to dump premium in it everywhere I go getting 14mpg.

Premium is easier to pump with no car payment.

I have found a lot about these 5.9s and some of the issues they have.

They also had a factory flash avalible from the factory that would "detune" it to allow running on reg gas. Some have it some don't, they have a sticker on the computer if they have it, not sure if dealers can still do it. There are also a couple of programmer out there that allow the same...but not sure if the cost/payoff is worth it.

I got a new headlight assembly to put on it tomorrow and going to service the diffs.

I still can't believe how good it runs and drives with all the miles it has...

On another note had to help retrieve a friends F250. He was out hunting bear with some friends using dogs to tree the bear. Trucks don't run long with out fuel. He had no gas when it showed full LOL.

I guess that if more than one person drives the truck, a malfunctioning fuel gauge could sure cause that. The float on the Dodge's fuel sender came loose on Thursday, it's gonna get fixed tomorrow.

I love my memory foam! Next one WILL have the cooling gel stuff. The do hold the heat.
