You guys and your fancy balancers. We do it old school round here.

I bet a large chunk of you don't even know how it works.

I haven't seen one of those in a year or two. I love how they balance the whole rotating assembly at the same time.

If you don't dent your Jeep, you can't come back! :D

Was pretty much kicking myself the day after wf12 for not wheeling. After i get some mechanical issues fixed, i plan on going wheeling.

Ran into the husband of the Lady Who pulled in front of me in the old Jeep. He was admiring my jeep and he said "This thing looks ready for anything". I said "Well, I figured I'd make it stronger than the last one". He laughed and said "Yeah, good idea".

Came back to La Crosse to visit family for the weekend. When we left the apartment I started the Jeep and it studdered for a second, didn't think much of it. Drove 3 hours down the road just fine. When we came to the stoplight at the exit ramp in Onalaska, the Jeep stumbled on its face and died. I threw it in neutral put the gas pedal to the floor and cranked her over. 2nd time she fired up and I drove to where we were having dinner with the family. Jeep stumbled and died again as I was trying to park.

Got home but throwing it in neutral and revving the engine over 1000rpm at stops. Took the IAC motor off and at once noted the o-ring was trash. Sprayed some PB Blaster in the motor, held it upside down and tapped it softly with a hammer. Bunch of carbon and some grit came out. Installed it back in TB and Jeep started up just fine. Decided to back it out of the drive-way and go on a drive and it fell on its face again. I'm thinking new IAC? Never replaced it before and Jeep has 145k on it. Also need to charge the battery cause its now around 9~10 volts...

So you all know who each other are? Is Columbus that small or did you meet him after the incident?

I was actually expecting your story to be an open-mouth-insert-foot story. Like you said something to the guy about how you wanted to try to make it "drunk benz" proof and then found out he was her husband... That would have been a better story.

My mom is a Beautician and she worked for him at his barbershop for years when I was a kid. He is a good dude, gave me my first gun actually. Had a red rider until my brother got them taken away from us because grandpa caught him shooting at me with his. I never got to ask grandpa what happened to those.

I'm getting old. Picked up bifocals this morning. This is gonna take some getting used to.

HA! I've had bifocals for the past 4 years. we're all getting old
I probably should have had them at least 2 years ago. Then again, getting old beats the alternative.

Gotta grow old, don't have to grow up.

Jeep back fired last night after I cleaned the IAC. blew out the seal on the TPS so I got to pick up both an IAC and TPS this morning. Jeep is sitting outside running right now cause after the new TPS was in, it wants to idle at 1100rpms. Disconnected the battery and clearned the comp. Started it and its idling 700-730rpms.

Put around 100 rounds down range today in my .22. Would have done more, but I didn't bring more rounds because I thought I had enough for an hour at the range.

Tomorrow I am going to a range day from where I bought my gun. They will have a bunch of guns at the range if you bring your own ammunition. I am taking every single round in the safe (.22, 9mm, 38, 380, 410 shogun shells, 12 gauge shotgun shells, 357 magnum, 40, and .223).
