This is more of a general photo, but any SD I do like but like the old Powerstrokes mostly.

The Monte Carlo had new plugs when I bought it almost a year ago, or almost 40k miles.

I have never changed them in the Tahoe, I've owned it 5 years, or almost 40k miles.

I wash the dust off the Tahoe just before it goes under a cover for 6 months.

I set my Jeep on fire today.... three times.

In West by God Virginia, on my way to interview in N.C. they are paying for the weekend for me and family to see if we like the area.

Good luck, Hobag!

Welp it came time for mom to get a new car. Her 96 explorer had over 280000 miles on it. Original engine and trans. The truck ran good. Rocker panels were shot. Local dealer gave her 4055 buck for it. She got an 03 explorer 4.6 4wd with 107000 on the ticker. This one should last her while.

probably because she paid 4000 extra for it.

But thats good for her though! im sure a nice upgrade haha.

P340 code, what is it? Normally I don't even check it since it is an XJ and if there is an XJ that doesn't throw a CEL every once in a while, it is a miracle.

Assuming you mean P0340.

If there's a CEL on, there is or was something wrong. Saying it's got a CEL because it's an XJ and they always have a CEL on, is just a weak rationale for deciding to not maintain your car.

Where is the camshaft position sensor?

You are just not very nice to that poor thing!

Oh it likes me, removing sheet metal makes it lighter and faster and adds HP! I just didn't do a real awesome job prepping for welding.

Didn't mention brand. Just saying
Diesel > Gas with trucks. I sadly have a gasser for now.

True! I've owned a gas silverado, a gas ram, and now a diesel ford. Ford is by far my favorite. 20 MPG in a 3/4 ton pickup that is 15 years old and has 280k.

Best of luck! Still in the manufacturing field?

Another topic. We were watching some end of the world show today. I grisly dont believe anything is going to happen, but, you never know right? (Y2K lol).

Who here maybe has enough canned/dried food to make it a week of two without outside power or resources? I m not talking crazy prepper crap, just enough to get you and your family by for awhile.
