Important

I am a skeptic. Meganne and I used to watch that Searching For Bigfoot show to make fun of it. Now we watch it to actually see what they come up with.

I believe in the possibility, but won't believe in the existence until I have my own experience or they come up with a body or definitive proof.

There is "something" in the forests of the UP.

My own eyes, my own ears.

Ask me about it IRL sometime.

..why do i not have enough room for a school bus at the shop :(
because you didn't build it big enough. Mines going to have 14ft doors. Ever since owning the wienerbox I've decided that regular pickup trucks aren't for me. Even Jennie sees class 8's for sale and wants to give me ideas. It's bad, do not develop an MDT/HDT habit.

I'm not totally complaining about all of it. We had got pretty complacent in this country. It's just too bad it took so many deaths to open our eyes. On top of that it's too bad the politicos had to use it to push through so many other things we didn't need.

this. and if the intent of the terrorists was to change our way of life, they have succeeded. The big question though is after we've spent billions, and self curtailed out liberties, does anyone feel safer?

I don't. Last time I flew I counted different ways I could have snuck an explosive device onto an aircraft, or just blown something up in the big security bottleneck where dozens were standing. They waved me right past security with a laptop bag that had a single change of clothes and 3 electronic devices inside. My Sirius radio is shielded inside, I doubt xrays could look into it's receiver section that's big enough for me to hide things. Let's not even discuss the 8 Li-ion cells in the battery in the notebok PC I was carrying. I can't carry a small thing of shampoo on the plane, but you'll let me take incendiary batteries onboard no sweat?

Sadly the average idiot doesn't seem to grasp that having more "security" doesn't mean you're any safer. It just means anyone wishing to blow something up does it in a different, unsecured area. So unless we secure everything (the goal of our federal government) no one will be safer at an airport.

couldn't have said it better myself.

Except you used the wrong word in one place... billions. We have spent trillions. !!!1

Just one thing worries me about the place, the amount of dust that will wreak havoc on my allergies. I can see it now, walking around the workplace with one of those fancy things the nose pluggers have to wear when swimming. LOL :D

you are correct.

regarding the new "cheokee" link above.
The new one will be a crossover based on the same platform as the Dodge Dart,

really? a Dodge dart with a Jeep badge? terrible.

It's no different than the compass built on the Caliber chassis.

I know, and I abhorred that mess as well.

I just don't get what they're thinking. I know that it's probably a move to bring up the CAFE numbers so they don't get penalized, but your best selling vehicle has solid axles and drives like a truck. Probably 5% of people that spend a gajillion dollars on a factory Rubicon Wrangler actually use it off road, but they bought it because it's the last vestige of a proper solid axled Jeep, and that's what they wanted.

Just seems that all of the car based "SUV"s that Jeep is putting out don't sell well and are bad for the brand image.

I have found inspiration!

Now to get some money to give to Hobag! :D
That thing looks uber clean! I'd love to have a cage like that!

They can make all the car like crap they want as long as they at least keep the Wrangler true to it's roots. I do wish they would keep at least one comfortable wagon with decent 4WD capabilities though.

I guess this comes out cause I'm really getting sick of my facebook getting clogged up about this chit. People, we know what fricking day it is. So stop posting all your photochoped pics of the towers & go to fricking work.

LOOK, I wasn't being a dick to anyone & I appoligized ahead of time if I offended anyone. As for YOU being in more debt because of 9-11, I call BS. Thats like saying ( I can't buy a gun cause of the Colorado chit) no you can't buy a gun cause you can't pass a background check. ( I'm more in debt know cause of 9-11), no, it's cause you live a life you can't afford & people think they don't have to pay their bills. Maybe let the government pick your slack. This is no way directed to you personnally.

Quit clogging up this thread...

Today is a day that we should never forget. Even with the bs and pc that has clogged it up, it may be the one thing that unites this country every year.

You are not uniting anyone...except against you.

I can't agree with this.
Jeep is fundamentally changing it's market and brand for the worse of it's company because of emissions standards.

So when jeep dies because they make a bunch of shitty cross platform vehicles that suck, who builds the wrangler then?

just another instance of the federal government being way to involved with a companies bottom line, and doing it through the "green" initiative.

the EPA is the 4th pillar of our government.

I don't blame folks for wanting better gas mileage but thinking Jeep and Gas mileage go together is where they go wrong.
