that is bad ass and has gears turning in my head. I am sure you can smell the smoke from there no problem.

I may have to put the outlets in my kitchen on the bottom of the cabinets over the counter. Know offhand of any NEC rules against that?

As long as they are GFCI protected I see no problem.
Are you pulling a permit?

well they came back with a counter offer. I told them this was not house buying, my offer stood as it was and if they wanted to deal, then that was my number. They are "going to think a little more on it"....it is a divorce settlement that is forcing the sale so I dont care if they get what they want out of it, I am only willing to give what I offered. If they come to my number, then I will write a check today for it, if not, they still own it. No sleep lost on my end...there are plenty of boat owners out there that can not afford their boats and want to off load them so they dont have to make payments over the winter when not in use...and that is where I step in! :D

Cheese "money talks, and BS walks" Man

Explain this boat payment thing to me...
People make payments on such things?

guilty of wrecking a parents car.

:anon:

Guilty as charged....didn't total it, good insurance, so in hindsight I dont feel near as bad as i did when it happened.

In my defense I was sideswiped by a speeding fat crazy black lady, my dad wrecked the same truck by driving it drunk through a telephone pole......so i guess my story isn't actually that bad at all....

Short"f250 tank still wasn't totaled"xjdoug

I haven't bought my girlfriend anything for christmas/birthday/etc in at least a year, too busy buying jeep parts.
She has one too and understands, after 7 years I think she would be gone if she didn't like it...

Shelly hasn't dumped you yet?? I was wondering that awhile back.

i did 10 dollars worth of damage to one of my parents cars...i gave both of them back running and in usable condition...

my brothers on the other hand, they were great for destroying vehicles

A good reminder...

This is killing me on the inside! I am torn apart thinking about it, but what is even worse is his Wife who is expecting(maybe a month along) was with him in the accident. The story ive got is they were on the main trail heading back to camp(someehow they got seperated from the group) when Gabe said the jeep felt funny and he got out and checked it, got back in and drove a little more when he lost control and flipped the jeep, he had no seat belt on and had gottn thrown from jeep causing head trauma. His Wife Heather called for help on the cell phone when freinds arrived the tried cpr but he was gone. Heather and the baby are fine the doctors said.

I ask that we all Wear a seat belt even if its just backing off the trailer! This is the 3rd friend our group has lost in the last 15 months that a seat belt may have saved there lives.

Also this is just what ive have heard so..

my dad had a 79 Camaro, the first time I was able to take that car by myself to go to the grocery store for my mom I got a speeding ticket, 89/55. that was the last time I drove the Camaro.

I totaled my dads delta 88 shortly after that, driving to school .

a few years later, I totaled his Thunder Bird Turbo Coupe, even though that was a deer accident, it was several years before I drove another 1 of his vehicles.

Never wrecked a parents car. Got a ticket in dads roush 94/70. 1 MPH away from a reckless. Put me over in points and lost my license for a second time and got booted off dad's insurance.
