You could have done worse. I have beat the crap out of my Neon and it just keeps taking it. Short of wrapping it around a pole, you shouldn't be able to do too much damage

Seems to me Steve that this is a Jeep Club, and although there are enough side interests around to make a subForum from everything from Anal Sex to Zoo Keeping, we tend to focus on what our Club is about. But Hey, that's just my take and you know what a narrow minded Azzhat I can be
Perhaps the best approach is for you to bring it up at the National Level, you know, make a Motion in the Members Forum and see if anyone else salutes it.

The 02 isn't a bad year. The headgasket issues were fixed if it's an auto it will have the 4 speed instead of the 3 speed. I bought my 00 with 116k for $1000, put less than $700 in it over 3 years and sold it with 150k for $1500. I wouldn't have sold it if I wouldn't have been given the family corolla that got a few more mpg's and cold air.

That's good. I need to add cruise to it and I'm looking into a set of factory takeoffs for it. The 14" tires are more expensive than a 15". It needs tires bad!

I get it that it will be a DD. But for how long? Get some snowfall this winter and you won't want to drive it. Then gone once the snow is gone?

Got the mail yesterday just to open up a $500 water bill for this month, that kind of sucked......but after that we had company over and all chowed on fresh cut porter houses and it made it all better. When I get pissed at the cattle, I get over it pretty quick when I know I will win in teh end by EATING THEM!

13. For the fall fling next year.
I paid $500 for a car that is 5 years newer than my jeep with less miles and runs solid. Another $500 in parts and labor it will be a pretty reliable little car. Trust me, I hate neons too but if I want to get a new axle and transfer case under my jeep, I need something to drive.

What is it with kids and remotes? I'm not going to say any names, but someone let the kid sneak off with it and it disappeared for a few days. Once I found it again, the battery cover latch was broken. So I jammed a piece of folded paper in the slot to keep tension on the cover. Worked like a charm. That is, until another someone let him sneak off with it again and lost the cover. So for a few days I was feeling batteries on the underside. Until this morning I find it and the original someone let him sneak off with it again last night and lost the batteries.
I am a stringent guardian of the remote when I'm on watch. Others, not so much.
