Yup, and selling it for 1k more than I paid for it.....you would dirve a TA for free over a summer too....

I did that with a YJ one summer...

mac 'wouldve kept it, but it was a rust bucket' gyvr

Woody, it looks like you even kept the ujoint cap retainer nibs on the pinion yoke while exploding everything around them. That's some quality work there.

You're telling me that finding a video on the internet at 10pm on a Sunday night is a poor use of free time? And you're telling me you didn't even laugh once?

I know Kman is dull, but wow.:gee:

Yes, they have this thing called porn!!!!!

I did laugh a couple times, but only a couple!

Am I in the ballpark that if its clean an offer of $2k would be a good deal on both sides? If there's any rust I'm thinking $1500. If the floor boards are rusted I will probably pass or offer $500...

I think those are fair prices.

We overpaid for Jennie's because it had certain unique features that we wanted. not to mention a bunch of factory accessories you can't get anymore.

in the end it's worth what you're willing to pay for it.

And it was probably one of the best maintained heep out there, considering who it's owner was.

And my Flex Style lockout with no teeth left. :D

that went a long way towards a higher than average price as well.

You don't get many one owner XJ's these days that were special ordered from the factory with all the right bits.

plus it's OG NAXJA.

it's an 01 with a NACFEST 02 sticker on the dash. It's wheeled at least three chapter events.

it's the NAXJA whore.

Only look at norp on the can. I guess you're married now, so you still need it.

The Burb is a close second.

$4k!

My budget is half that for the moment.

I might put some tow hooks and a hitch if one not installed and that would be it.

I'm still considering trading the popcan for a slightly modified TJ or stock JK.

mac 'not sure if I can bring myself to do it tho' gyvr

Usually you gotta pay extra for that kind of action, Cotton.

;)

ok, so how about this.

every red XJ in NC is 2wd. They were all cheap. (2K with 150K miles was about the average when I was looking)
If one was so inclined you could pick up a rust free 2wd chassis, bring it back and slap a case and an axle in it.

it's not getting yohn'd cause you're looking at 2wd jeeps.

87'worth every penny for not rusty bolts' manche

Mac, here is what I did. Add up the parts from the buggy that would be easy to sell, when I say easy I mean decent prices that will move the stuff quick. Then offer the whole thing for that much, take your heart out of it time building doesn't mean dick in this equation.

I honestly do not think I will be dissapointed in the direction I have decided to go with my wheeling hobby.

I keep trying to tell you guys that 35's is the most fun.

I know it's sweet to just roll over everything, but it's way more entertaining to drive the piss out of it.

can I say piss still?
