Important

Have a friend looking for an XJ with a five speed in the Indy Area if anyone sees any. Would consider an auto with proper fluid changes. No lifting or fixer uppers per his request.

Seems like a fair price but out of my price range for the hobby now.....I am looking for the pseudo beater that is mechanically sound and can be DD'd if desired. I also have boat fever BAD after my weekend on the houseboat...I have moved my budget and searching from a 21-23' bowrider in the $12-16K to a 28-32' go fast in the $35K and under range. You can get 14 year financing on those biotches! LOL!

I'm looking for something in the $1500 to $2K range that the wife can DD. A couple important things. Solid body, auto, and working A/C.

Would like the 97+ body style, 4d, and under 200k, closer to 150k the better, but I know the 4.0 runs a while.

I know that they are out there and I'm willing to wait for the right deal.

My time frame is probably by the end of the year.

Unless I trade the buggy for something, but Rosco wants me to build a buggy...I think I would need to drop about 5k into my current parts to build one.

hey mac...what did that run you?

im looking for some lighting possibilities for the goose trailer and the duck boat. after seeing how crazy bright some of the lights were at the atv race this weekend, i want to look into them. especially for the trailer. having one mounted on the side would certainly help the setup go a lot faster in the dark

Well, here's the thing. I had a set of 4 inch HID's that were $100 each. I loaned them to my buddy that races the ranger. He said he would buy me a new set of lights. Then he said he could get an led light bar in the same price range. Sooooooo, less than $200 I'm guessing.

Dan we will night wheel with it if we aren't broke...

going to see about looking at this boat over the weekend if it is still available. Minus a few goofy stickers, it is a clean rig from the pics. I had that much in my XJ over the years and probably would use a boat the same amount on avearge (an not have a beat ass XJ when I was done) :D

scarab...nice. that would be a bitchin boat. i think collins dad brings his boat down to the ozarks sometimes. we could meet up and have a boat party. though i don't think ya'll could keep up to my monstrous 18 hp johnson...:)

if i didn't have so many projects going right now, i would be restoring a boat. so many ones here just need a tune up and some paint. if i get the truck done in less than 2 years, the plan is to get an old boat with a small block chevy in it...but that won't be for a while

man looking at that water really makes me want to go back down to to those lakes!

it is a addiction! I grew up on the lake and forgot about how much I really love it down there. With the houseboat down there I can moor in the same docking area and I have a place to stay as well. It would be fun for the whole family, no towing it everywhere, I would just leave in it dock all summer nand have it pulled out to dry storage in the winter or haul it home and put it in the machine shed...which would have to be cleaned out big time :D Just in the early phases of looking, but I really like the motor/outdrives of this set up and Scarab is a quality name that holds good resale value.

That boat is schweet!

My father in law has a cottage on the channel of a no wake lake that's connects to five other big lakes that you can ski on. If we both had weekends off, a boat would be in the pile of toys...unfortunately with my schedule and hers we would never use it. We've been to the cottage 2 times in the last three years.

Scarab is a great boat. EFI is a great setup, not as fancy as an MPI setup, but I have never seen an EFI or MPI setup rebuilt before.

Please don't leave that pretty boat sitting in scummy lake water all summer though! I have a customer that has a 33 ft Baja with twin 502s, we installed an A/C unit and pumpable head in his boat and he left it sit in the water all summer long. It was a shame scrubbing the bottom of that boat in the fall.

I'd almost be down with that.

Piss on winterfest, lets have summerfest somewhere on the water.....

Sean'sold my XJ and bought an 18 foot Carrevelle and never had a second thought'R

Monroe reservoir in Bloomington, IN. Big ass lake in the same county as a big ass college......No Brainer.

Sounds a lot like Winterfest...
