I can always count on this thread to give me some chuckles...

I need to look into buying stock in spray-on bed-liner...
Now don't flame me about it, but I have incorporated Dupli-Color rattle can bed-liner on a lot of the Jeep, it looks decent, hasn't scratched in the wheeling I've done with it, and if it needs touch-up, its easy to do...

Today I bought 5 more cans, and have a 6th at work, that I will be doing my roof with. The roof-rack will also receive the same treatment and be put back on...

I read the transcript.

typical dems speak. The rich business owners couldn't have gotten there without the laborers, so they're entitled to the profits just as much as the man that:
had the idea
Took the capital risks
Managed it to be successfull
Marketed it to the public.

you know, cause there's not anything more to a successful business than just hiring some schmucks off the street and having them make things for you, so you couldn't do it without the schmucks, so they should get more and pay less on the taxes for it.

Well said!

There is something falling from the sky and the sky is making noise....what is it?

Got off work today & the Grand Cherokee wouldn't start. I was in a hurry to get to the credit union to cash my payroll check, so I had to just leave it and catch a ride from a co-worker. Smelled like it was flooded, hopefully it will start right up after sitting all night. God I fricking hate that V-8, I regret buying it everytime I pull up to the pump, but the price was right. I just wish it had a 4.0.

No you don't... the 4.0 doesn't get better enough fuel mileage to justify it being a slow pig.

Bacon and cheese?

Cheese "you don't measure from your butthole forward?" Man

cheeseman...kudos to you for being responsible. there are not a lot of family farmers left unfortunately. i have a buddy back home whos parents have been farming all their lives. they own several hundred acres (if not thousands) and don't owe a dime on the land. they made their way buying broken down or burned up machines, atvs and trucks. they would repair them, use them for a year or two and re sell them for a profit. they never had anything new or shiny, but they also never owed money on equipment. eventually it became so profitable for them, they were able to pay off all their land and turn it into a business with 2 full time employees and his other son running the show. i've seen them turn some pretty hammered farm equipment and fix it up really nicely. they made a pretty big buy during hurricane katrina and were able to do pretty well with what they got. in a way they are also offering a service to some of the other family farmers who don't want to take out loans on new equipment by offering things that are in excellent condition for a fraction of what it would cost for a used machine. i will say that i would LOVE to have a shop like theirs someday...good lord it is sweet.

How old do you think this is?

This was my Grandpa's shotgun. My dad said the last time he remembered it firing was when he was a teen.

While in the basement, we also found a stack of magazines from the 70's.

The erector set was still downstairs along with the microscope.

I don't have anymore information, I was pushing the time I had to leave for work at my dads. I will have more time to explore it more then likely after the end of the month. I plan on seeing what brand it is. The stock looks brand new also (well, new as in, bought but never made to fit onto the shotgun.

You plan on scratching your roof?

P.S. If you do scratch your roof, I don't think your paint job will be the first thing on your head. I think your ass will. ;)
