Mud. Alcohol allowed while on the trail. Mud. ATVs, dirtbikes, lawnmowers w/ farm tires; drivers all hammered. Mud. Been once and will never go again.

All you guys that do not have AAA and wheel your dd's should def get AAA. 1 tow is worth it.

What they said!

Aaron, keep in mind where you live, the size of your driveway, where you're going to park that big SOB...

In other words, there are enough extra cars at his house :)

Mac, I can't believe you were able to get enough traction with those bald tires to break a shaft.

I've been hearing for years that they need replaced...

I have Good Sam...they will tow my vehicles and truck/trailer...

I have decided it's time to put the bottle down. Ended up busting a guys nose and lip Saturday night and I don't even remember it. I knocked him out for almost ten minutes according to his girlfriend. He plays softball for me and is now deathly scared of me. From what I understand he was yelling at his girlfriend and he shoved her back while in front of me and I just blasted him. She was trying to get more money out of his pocket. She called me and said it happened so fast I was laughing about some joke when he shoved her and I knocked him out. Feeling a bit ashamed now. I need to stay away from the drinking. :dunno:

Not anymore. Sold the Sube and the MJ and our roommate moved out. Just my Jeep and my brother's Civic. My driveway is just too small for a Suburban and a trailer. I don't have the Luxury of a Parking lot beside my house like Brad.....yet! :D

I had that problem once. Sold my house, lost my ass on it, sold my truck, lost my ass on it, and moved to the country so I could basically start from scratch on a mortgage and buy vehicles all over again. But hey, at least there's plenty of parking space for everyone's stuff!

If you get a tow rig and trailer, just find a local storage facility for it. I was paying $25/mo for an outdoor spot for my trailer and Jeep. In retrospect it would have been a lot cheaper to keep doing that, or even rent a second space, compared to what I did.

Your new situation is much better than Suburbian hell! It'll be a couple months before(and before I buy another vehicle) I figure out my trailer situation, so if it comes down to it i'll rent a uhaul trailer. The breakage in Harlan cut into my car fund a little but it'll be gaining funds after this week.

I trailered even on 31's simply because I have no restraint.

I bust more than anyone I know.

on a side note, my tahoe and trailer will be paid off this week, along with all of my credit cards :D

I hate owing people money, that's why I don't have a truck payment! Paying off stuff feels good!

this plus being easily pressured results in me rarely wheeling a full day without breaking something... not a good combination.

Coulda went through them in a Camry over the weekend. It was dry as hell.

If the new job goes as well as I think it will I will have a new truck and trailer in 6m to a year. We also do onsite storage for $2.50/ft per month and I can get to it from 7am-9pm 7 days a week. Maybe cheaper as an employee. I'm eyeing the toy haulers in about 5years if all goes well. We'll see how it goes. I think I'm going to like it. Busy busy busy.
