Important

I've never bent my V8 ZJ tie rod. And I do stupid things to it.

I did bend my stock drag link at NACFest. That sucked.

Regardless I will be running stock + V8 ZJ steering on the MJ until I redo it in a significant manner at which point it'll be getting heims since I already bought them.

Just got done for the night, had too drink a feew for wade!

Phil hasa ''94 grand ZJ Im stealing the steering off of tomorrow, also gona plasma torch off the lca mounts well Im there too.

If you jump it enough, it will bend, ask Brad! :D

Make sure it's not just ZJ steering that you're getting. It has to be from a V8 model to have the stouter TREs.

picked up a saturday shift because i got nothing better to do this weekend... looks like ill be at work from 5pm today to 11am tomorow. 18 hours? didnt think that one through... oh well... its all OT at this point.

its pretty hard to mess up.

the I6 models have the same tie rod as our XJs. but the tie rod is labeled as an "adjusting sleeve," and uses the same TREs that the XJ does. but you are correct, you want the V8 model, right inner TRE. then you can either use your XJ or the same ZJ for the part number on the adjuster and left outer that you need.

Wow.. take a week off the N and folks are butt-hurt, insurance, hookers and blow make an appearance, the sheep shirt from like 3 years ago and steering parts....

I think everyone needs to get outside in the garage and have a cold beer or three.

I am not nor have I been butt hurt.
But I will go out and have a beer of 7.

It is Friday...I guess a few beers isn't out of the question. But my main drinking buddy is in Canada fishing  I'm a little jealous to say the least.

Decided to try a shooting competition tomorrow, pretty sure I will be last, but for five dollars, the little bit of range time will be worth it.

That's the ticket. Don't set your goals to high, or any goals for that matter. You'll never be disappointed. :D

I am much better with a scope that has been scoped in (when my dad gets his guns back from his wife {she is divorcing him}, I am getting his guns {another story}). First thing I plan to fire is his 40 year old 22 rifle. Last few times I fired it, it had issues ejecting spent shells, he said he cleaned it since then. It also needs scoped in again (was shooting far right, thought it was my aiming until he couldn't hit what he was aiming at).

I am sure he cleaned it often, but I only shot it this year for the first time in 15 years (last time I actually somewhat remember shooting it, was when my parents were together). I am interested in seeing if the cleaning was the problem or if the extractor needs replaced.
