Important

I have been working on a remodel at a fancy house downtown on the river this week.
Most of my time has been pulling cables out on a deck in the sun.
Today at 2:00 PM one of the carpenters told me I was in his way.
I said, "You are right, there is only room for one of us here."
I packed my shit and left!
I said, "Have a nice weekend!" as I walked out.
Got in the truck and it was 103*
Sometimes it is nice to be self employed....

88 for a high here today and 90 tomorrow, but then again im on a harbor right off the atlantic ocean. supposed to be 86 when i get back to iowa...i have a feeling the boiler will be between here and the midwest on my way home. maybe i should tape another cooling fan to my radiator for pulling the trailer home...yuck

on an awesome note...the vac line that runs my blower vents broke at the firewall so they are stuck on defrost, which will make for a hot as heck ride home. does anyone know how much of the dash needs to be pulled to get at that vac line on the inside of the firewall? its the REALLY tiny one by where the heater lines go into the firewall...

Unseasonable temps that's for sure, like the dog days of August, hope its not hotter then!

im REALLY hoping this is a sign that we will have an early fall....early spring and a summer that burns out early will hopefully bring cool weather early. goose hunting was awful because of the lack of fall and winter last year

I want some cooler weather so I can camp this fall. I want to go a few more times with my small group at church.

Day one over with. Brad and I had Jeep issues but they seem to be resolved, well find out tomorrow if My power steering pump is dead.

On my 3rd shirt of the day. Part time job at Vincennes Tractor is nice, but working in a open bay shop at 105* makes for a long day.

I need to use this more, so I plan on at least camping twice.

Between about three of us in our small group, we have four tents, two camping stoves, and all the camping supplies needed. I am sure someone has lanterns, but I prefer electrical camping.

Man that's a nice tent!!! I have camped with electric but I love backwoods camping, hike in hike out, camp somewhere in between where nobody is around

I got it for 180 on sale, I got a small tent (2-3 people max) that I got years ago. I hate it since I can't stand up in the middle of it (which is why I got that one, it is 7'2" in the middle).
