Xj died on me today while I was driving to the diesel shop to pay them for working on my truck. Lucky me, I threw the hazards on and walked to the shop to get my truck. Went back to the xj later and tried a few things and eventually gave up and called AAA, that's what they're there for right. Been here 3 hours and every time I call I'm assured it'll be another 30 minutes. Awesome. I would just leave and go home but apparently I have to be here to sign when the tow truck gets here.

Be thankful they actually gave it back! The odjfs has some crooked ass people working for it, ill be done paying in a year and a half!!! An extra 120 a week in my pocket!!! Yay

ugh....18 hour day complete. forgot one of the opening acts was the donnas, they were pretty decent. i have to say though, dokken was pretty rocking. despite the fact that his band was a pain in the ass during soundcheck, he was actually super cool and laid back. at one point during the show he walked offstage and put his arm around me and started pretenting like he was playing with my soundboard...he was very appreciative, calm and nice...all great qualities to have in a musician. time for some sleep, then tomorrow its back at it for big head todd and the monsters

Still no offer.....

Motor swap #3 in one month will begin this afternoon, just have to clean the garage after the last one. I think I will be done with motor swaps for awhile after this one. :D LOL
 
If we don't get some rain here soon, there will be no fireworks on the 4th of July...

So we will leave for Harlan on the evening of the 4th if that's the case...still might anyways.

x2. We have been waiting about 6 weeks for one couple to make up their mind. They came back to town last weekend to finalize their decision, then told us they needed until the 23rd to decide. Screw em, we're having another open house on the 23rd.
 
Harrison's birthday party is today. It has been a hectic one. Between this, that and the other thing, Meganne is almost falling apart. I have to keep reminding her that it is just a birthday party. It won't stop his birthday. It will still be a special day. And people won't judge her for anything that she thinks is out of place.

Glad my folks and brother could make the trip up for this. It's good to see them and I'm sure they're happy to be here for the special day.

Took my son out to the range today. I wanted to get some rounds through the 10/22 and see how I like it. Well.. I got to shoot about 20 rounds my boy put about 200 through it..
He did get to learn how to load a 10/22 doghouse magazine though.

He wants to take Shotgun Shooting merit badge at summer camp this year, I have been trying to talk him out of it. So we brought out a few of them also so he could his feet wet. Needless to say after one round through the .410 and one round through the Nato Gamebird Model 10.. he no longer wants to take shotgun shooting at camp.

Stupid Rossi .410 failed to eject a spent shell and I couldn't get it out at the range. That is what I get for trying to save myself a few bucks on a gun I wouldn't really ever use without the kids.
