Important

It may have been the first console that had 3rd party cartridges or games available for it. Some other consoles with replaceable cartridges were available earlier, but didn't have cartridges available from other companies.

Didn't know that, just remember my grandparents had one when I was young we played pong a lot, them I got Atari thought it was awesome, my kids hate it lol

Gawd, and now we're up to GRANDPARENTS!

BRB, gotta go change the battery in my hearing aid...

That would tow an XJ on a trailer just fine.

Its when you start towing more that the 1/2 lacks.

Weight distribution and you're good.

Exactly! I DONT need a diesel or 3/4 ton. I will tow a few times a year. And no more than an xj. A 2/2 ton Gasser is cheaper to buy, insure, and fix.

I like diesels cuz they're cool lol. I will own one someday when my finances are a bit different.

I thought you were looking at a 1/2 ton not a 1 ton?

Unless u need a 3/4 ton or heavier for regular use, stick with a 1/2 ton gasser. I have 3/4 and larger diesel trucks around because we have to have them and most have a trailer hooked on them 5 days a week or more...our 5 ton rig has never been without a trailer come to think of it. And I am saying this out of all honesty and not being an arrogant prick, but if anyone is worried about payments or fuel mileage, then they can't afford a diesel because a typical break down will be more then the average Joe can afford. I view farm machinery the same way....I own older stuff bc I can afford to fix it and there are no longer payments, so when a $25,000 repair comes along we can scrape by to get it taken care of......and trust me, this shit does happen!!

Undoubtedly, diesel repairs do get expensive. My clutch ran me $1,100 just in parts (SB 12" conversion, w/ a new flywheel,) and I'm going to put in a new set of injectors this summer, $600 just in parts. Then again, I'm up at 340k miles and generally running strong.

I resemble that remark.

I've only towed with suburbans and my Tahoe, with the one exception of wf 11 when i used my 1/2 ton dodge, and I also had a small pop up on the dodge. I've never had a problem, yes it slows down on big hills but that's a small price to pay.

I don't have a weight d/s hitch, but like mac said its a good idea. I might even buy one someday. LOL.

Exactly. I live 3 miles from work. And haul nothing heavier than a xj. I have a payment on this Gasser for 6 months. Then be payment free again. I can't justify 300 plus a month payment to be kool!

If you don't have a diesel you can't blow black smoke on Dan.
I've made weedwackers roll coal before. They love oxyacetylene - oh how they love it.
