Flex, the looks of my B4 Passat grew on me over time at first I thought it was fugly but got a good deal on it. Also got 32 mpg out of the vr6 and five speed.
It would be sick if that variant were a Synchro.

I can't deny that statement but its clean inside and out and gets decent mileage and I got him down to $1500 on it. Also, there is room to haul Jeep parts around!
It just got brand new belts at 167k too.
you have an issue with the fuel pump shutting off when it's not bypassed for start.
check the relay, and also bypass the ballast resistor (If the OBD-I Jeeps had them, I'm not too familiar with the details of the SBE fuel injection)

With all the others things trying to close our access, insurance is the one I did not expect a park to let shut them down.
I would have expected a budget that would have been able to cope with insurance fees.
