Bank approved the difference in what I have and what I need to have to buy that big bastard of a trailer...

I like the door in the door.

I do as well.

It also has electric steps that pop out.

mac I quess it all depends on your market, those range from 8K to 15K depending on shape and options. Also keep in mind (I am sure you are) that to finish one with a living quarters that is worth a damn is another 3-5K. Sure you could cobble something together, but to do it nice will cost ya. (once again, I am sure you have already thought of this). I too like the door-n-door set up. At least you can use it as a RV style door w/o having to have someone latch the cargo door or lock you inside as a prank (dont ask). that is a huge biatch!

He wants 10k, so I'm just trying to decide if its worth that, I'm pretty sure I can get it for a bit less, he told me he'd take 9500...I'm thinking 9000. I'm not sure that the living quarters would make it worth much more as it will be home built. I am not talking something as nice as SeanR's trailer, but something a little nicer than Manche's :)

With 20ft I'd like to put in a shower and a crapper, and do it right. That with holding tanks will probably cost a bit, and it doesn't have to happen all at once. First priority would be building a wall with an interior door to the garage and getting the electrcal squarded away to my liking. Then the bed area, along with an hvac/heater unit...and insulation if needed. I'd like to have it livable for winterfest and then make it a work in project next year. I'd like to not have more than 2500 to 3000 in the lq setup. I would also add another cargo door to the garage area.

Let me buy the trailer first lol...but I'm thinking a bigger shower than a normal RV...I'm a rather big boned person.

But for the rest, yes that is possible. Or a trip up to Elkart the RV supermarket of the world.

The state of Wisconsin will have at least 3 more people in the unemployment line tomorrow morning. The powers that be went through the numbers and got rid of the lowest. Myself being one of them. The shitty part was that my numbers were low because of my horrible service writer. I asked to be put under a different writer months ago to no avail. I get with a different writer about 2 weeks ago and magically my last week nearly doubled in productivity. I've never been on unemployment before...curious to see what it's all about.

yeah, mine is real basic, it will get improved a little more, but I think ultimately I'd like a sleeper and a flatbed.

seems like finding a water leaked trailer or camper to donate stuff is the best route. You can get windows and stuff too. and the 12V converter.

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. You are in a good trade so you oughta be able to find a dealership or shop looking for people who want to work. In the meantime, you still get paid.

that sucks Josh, you will make more money working tho.

keep an eye out at home depot or lowes for scratch and dent showers, sink and suck.

i'm going to enjoy spending your money on this.. :D

just looked at the pics on a real computer, it makes me laugh when our trailers come back with scratches so far forward on the trailer. sh!t, you'd hit that pole with a short trailer. :D

that sucks Josh
It does. I don't want to be unemployed. On the other hand, I absolutely hate the company and I'm glad to not have the stress of BERGSTROM AUTOMOTIVE's politics and brainwashing.

I find UC to be an embarrassing experience.

But then I look at being unemployed as an opportunity to find either a higher paying, or a more satisfying Job. It is a full time Job in itself, but the results are usually worth it. If you are a good Tech, you will have no problem finding a Job, even in this economy. People always want their stuff fixed when they can't afford new :D

Tentative trailer deal.

Possibly going to pick it up Saturday.

what gears are usually in the xj d44? i'm sure its probably 3.55, but i'm wondering in case i want to swap 30's to build mine since it has new bushings and ball joints...

i've read that they are 3.55, but i've also read that they come in the towing package which has 3.73?

Depends on motor, trans, and option package.

its a 4.0, aw4...i know the 4 bangers and some v-6's had 4.10's, but i've seen mixed info on what the 44's had in them. some say all are 3.55, some say all are 3.73. i suppose i can find out when i drop the axles and pull the covers
