mac that looks like a very comfy couch.

my other brother started, here at the vdf today. what the hell were they thinking having 3 settle boys at the same gig:roflmao:

It doesn't smell like the inside of Tyler's belly button anymore. *Wouldn't you like to know.* .

hey now, there is nothing wrong with the smell of chili cheese Fritos, Miller Lite and hairy lint balls......and yes, I still love you.

maybe now he will learn to work on his own fawking jeep :gee:

I sure am lacking the motivation to go into the garage this morning. Can't wait for this drivetrain swap to be done! Almost done.

And that's the truth. I know it's in my head, but after doing things like this it always feels like your ride is running better. Must be all that satisfaction I get from being a Jeep owner and it's not lifted. It's nice to have something to do to this thing that isn't a costly modification. I've got a trans line or both that are rusting, front u-joints, brakes and wiring repairs in the drivers door jamb. By then it will start feeling like a new vehicle!

pretty sure I have a set of AW4 cooling lines in the garage. They're from a pre-97 though. I don't know if they interchange.

they're the same on all years iirc. Only difference is the lower radiator connection and that thing sucks and gets replaced with a hoseclamp on all my vehicles anyways.

Saw one of my det Marines looking at bumpers today. Asked him what he was doing and he told me he was looking for a bumper for his '99 XJ.

I got him signed up when I found out he owned a heep.

well if they didn't gte pitched in the last great garage purge I have a set of trans coolant lines that came with a 1987 AW4.

pretty sure the rubber lines have been cut, but you were going to replace those anyway.

Josh can have them if he pets my wiener @ winterfest.

Dad's WJ has a doctor's appt with the Dealer on Thursday morning for a full diagnostic.

So we're trying to devise a drinking game involving the back side of the dart board that has the baseball setup. So far, best I can come up with is drinking 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 beer for each base 1, 2, 3 and home run and a shot for every score given to the other team. So if I am playing against Dan and I have a runner on 2nd, he drinks half a beer. Then I hit a triple and he has to drink 3/4 beer for the triple and a shot for the score. This would go until I get 3 outs and the game switches sides.

Let me know if you guys can come up with something that doesn't involve so much drinking. The kids in the house seem to think that's going to wind up being tough. I would be curious to try it at least once and see if anyone can make it 9 innings.

Opinions? Suggestions?

Edit: A thought to split the total beer up amongst the fielding team and give the shots out in batting order... So, if it's Dan, Tyler and Nate against Me, Kimmer and Meganne...and Dan hits a double, the half beer gets split amongst the three of us. Then the scoring shots just follow the batting order.

This is getting interesting. I should be drinking to come up with these rules.

well uhaul f-ed up and had to give me a flat trailer instead...all good. new xj is rough, but has some useable parts. its actually a non disco d30, so i think i am going to build up both the 30 and the 44 and throw them under mine once they are done. i'm not super excited about tearing into it though, she is mighty crusty on the bottom side...

good news is, the guy couldn't get it started, so he cut my price in half:rof:

so how do you get a car that wont start on a trailer when you don't have a tow strap...you hope that the guy you are buying it from has a wrecker

step one drag xj onto wrecker

step 2...use wrecker to put xj on trailer :yap:

he also had an old willy's and a PILE of old f-250's and an old full size bronco. there were a couple of d60's there for sure if anyone needs one. he said he just sent one to the scrapyard because it was sitting in his yard too long! oh he also had this

he offered to sell it to me for $300! if there was room on the trailer, it may have made it home with me. doesn't run, but its actually in pretty good shape. some rust, but nothing that couldn't be repaired....anyone need a waggy or a 60???

Ok my gas gage is funky. I put 14 gallons in, gas was comin out the neck. And it only put me to 3/4, the fullest I ever got it was like 7/8, shortly after I bought it.

How many gallons is a xj tank?
