Does look nice, Dan.

I can't really put a box forward of the deck on mine due to the dropleg jack mounted at the deck edge. And, I've also discovered that I probably really would have liked the 20' deck instead of the 18'.

Talked the wife on the phone. All is well, no hurricane damage. Lots of wind and rain and I lost half the shingles on the storage shed.

Folks up north are dealing with flooding.

this is what I've been up to lately. I had to mount my box above my winch & build a tire carrier ...

looks nice dan...

I have a mulitmount winch for the baby jeep that i have wanted to make a mount on my trailers but just haven't pulled it off yet...

I do have trailer boxes on both of my trailers...i have no idea how i managed without them...

Mac - Go to the local tractor/parts store and get a bolt on 2" receiver hitch for truck bumpers. Flip it upside down and bolt it to your trailer.

That's what I used inside the jeep to hold the winch in when I had a multi mount. I think Nate has it now.

Viewing / wake was today for Grandpa. Went well. Tomorrow we bury him, military funeral style...should make a grown man cry...

fuel pump is compatible with something but the sender unit is unique.

My condolences... it's never easy :(

The good news is that my brother is in town from Cali and we are getting drunk in the motel...

while junking out the F350 yesterday I popped the hood and forgot it had a new Edlebrock 1408 on it....but has been sitting for about 5 years in the fence row. I am pretty sure it is a big carb since truck has a 460 in it. It is dirty as hell, but I would think it would be worth something on CL or a swap shop maybe? I also pulled the radiator and drive shafts...nothing else worth much account.....it smells like mice and chemicals :(

WTF is wrong with salvage yards?

I've called two of them that have the xj steering column I need and they both won't pull it till tomorrow.

Got up early to fix my junk, maybe back to bed?

That 460 any good? I don't know why I'm asking...would be too far away to mess with. A buddy is looking for one to put in his late 70s bucket truck that he uses in his sign business. It's got some kind of industrial series Ford motor that he says is stupid expensive to fix due to rare parts.

I was down at my parents river cabin all weekend, barefoot 98% of the time it was great but now that i have to wear shoes to work it kinda sucks.

i started to think about possibly having a non wheeling get together, i know some of you guys like fishing, kayaking, drinking beer and fires so this would be a pretty good spot to do that at. there is a enough room for tents and possibly a camper. the water gets a little low this time of year but a little john boat still makes it through, i was thinking maybe late summer or fall of net year.
thoughts?

hey Eric, it is a POS. It was using oil and gas at the same ratio. It is a well worn out old farm truck and we parked it when the clutch went out and the water pump did too in the same day....I forgot that we have used #9 wire to hold the TRE in place to get it in the fence row...that came to haunt me when I pulled the axles, it came undone and made the wheels go "cross eyed". Good thing I am going all heims on the steering for the XJ.
