I got fired from the canning factory for putting my finger in the pickle slicer.... she got fired, too.

Brian, you're really bugged by that, aren't you?

I worked at a masage parlor, but got fired because I rubbed people the wrong way.....

I worked at a candy factory, and got fired for improper fudge packing...

chains and binders scare me.

properly maintained straps are very safe...

<shrug> Chains & straps both have right & wrong uses. I like straps for tying down my Heep, but if I'm tying down one of the farm tractors, I'll reach for the chains & binders.

I have a LOCKER now! :D

Drove the XJ to work today after letting her sit for a month, It feels like the lockright won't unlock. Anyone have this happen?

I'm welding inside the bounder.

pics?

I bought a weed wacker with sears gift cards...i haven't had one that worked in a couple years, borrowed one once or twice last year...today it took me a tank of fuel and a full spool to trim my FRONT yard only...

the back is twice as big...and twice as much fence...

I know why it took me so long to replace it.

My theroy (and that is all it is) is will the chain or strap hold the item I am towing incase of a collision. DOT will issue citations if your straps are not rated for the load your hauling and likewise if your using a light grade chain to secure with. Camilles dad had a driver roll a rig years back and it actually held the entire load on the trailer. I use both and know what the limitations are of each....too bad not everyone else on the road does.
