Yeah, you don't want her reading this and then posting under your name...Read a thread about that a while back. Lolz ensued, but the dude got dumped.haha...Camille is NOT happy with me right now over this, but she will get over it..hell, this rig cost less then one of the tickets to Europe later this summer..she can STFU if she has a problem with it as far as I am concerned. (insert tough guy voice here..and NO, she is not her to see this)

LOL! I bet!got home a few hours ago from getting the XJ picked up. The new air intake on the truck really worked well with the full exhaust...noticable throttle response and better overall performance..and I never get tired of hearing that turbo pop off!Case decided he would help me clean it out tonight and spilled a full bottle of Febreeze in it...smells good now!

Nice cover shot Sean. They should have used a shot of the rigs that winced your ass back over.
Oh. My. Gawd.Just spent the better part of an hour talking with the neighbor about a potential family project he's got. One of his uncles had a early Jeep that he's interested in getting running again. First problem is that it's stored in his cousin's garage, 50 miles away, and difficult to get to. Second problem is that he's not sure what it is, it could be anywhere from a 1943 MB to a 1951 CJ. It's got a Chevy smallblock, apparently a huge transmission leak (even though Tim thinks it's a stickshift.) Probably the worst thing is that it hasn't been turned over in 20-25 years, and although it was running when it was put in the garage, I'm willing to bet that it wasn't stored properly.
My advice was that it'd take a lot of time at an absolute minimum to get it running, and more likely, a bunch of parts. Don't even think about it from a monetary perspective. Already significantly modified, about the only thing left original is the tub, and that's been sandblasted and repainted blue (aftermarket soft top.) It might make sense from the family value direction, otherwise, run.
These things will do his wife well...great giftGetting Ready to head to a buddy and fellow XJ owners wedding. Then i gotta talk to him about his XJ being stupid. His shift solenoid sounds like its going out on him. His XJ is a 99 and as a wedding gift I gave him a hitch and set of THB's and hooks. Hopefully I can get him out wheeling with us someday.
