Also, a good multi fuel Zombie apocalypse base vehicle.

I am but i keep wasting gas going down there. I can live with my gas guzzling beast but i have been down there twice for no damn reason basically.
I have talked to Cardboard and he is gonna drag it up here for me. I will have it in the next couple days. The motor is knocking so I am gonna save it the 30 mile drive and have the rod bearings replaced to last until i can find a 3.4 or bigger to swap into it! I also talked him down since he's been playing games with me I figured it was my turn!![]()
4.10s with 35s and a stick I was getting 21-22 on the highway. 18-19 in the city.....
ordered a new brake assembly for my winch today. also bought a wireless winch controller, seeing how I use my winch so much.
now to buy a new axle shaft and joints.
What u-joints do you guys like? CTM, Yukon super joints, or...
just bought the Yukon joints. $400/pr. ouch. better than the CTM's at $500/pr.
new outter $110.
remote $100
brake for winch $170
I need to work some OT now.
I get 13 on the highway. Its been like that for a year or so now. Havent really done much diagnostics on it. Its 3 inch lift and 31s
Some of you are showing some great numbers. It would be nice to know some details. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter choice, tire make and size, etc...
correct speed tooth count? hand figured?
Flex, I'd shred the f'n title and mail it back to him,
tell him to GFHS.
I'll come get it for free, but I get to keep it![]()
Any one get noticeable gains with the stock roof rack taken off?
Been getting anywhere between 20-22mpg highway in the daily driver WJ (4.0L, small lift, 31s).
The XJ got just shy of 20mpg on long trips, haven't checked it since it has been cut. Speedo is correct, hand figured, amazed the hell out of me.
Seriously considering leaving the truck/trailer at home and driving the cherokee to the trails this year.
well look who is among the living! Good to see ya back on the boards Trav. Missed seeing ya at WF this year. Camille asked where the cute guy was, I thought she was refering to Rev :dunno:
On a pure highway trip, I get about 20mpg. I am stock with 235's. In town I get 16. I usually don't try to gun it too much and 95% of the time get gas at the same station.

.Ran it for a little while without the rack and it seemed to improve some more. Now that I've got heavy bumpers, 3" lift and heavy 31s...it dropped a lot.
Like Big Stank said, is this hand figured? Same person pumping the gas? Same gas station? Are speedometers/odometers dialed in and correct, reading correctly?
