Why is it when you aren't looking to buy tires you see a 100 good deals on tires on craigslist or local boards. But when you have cash in hand and need tires you can't find a good deal to save your life. I need to have tires for mine by this weekend actually otherwise I may not be going to see a trail this month.

Half the stuff on that front axle was replaced right before I got it, should be good to go for years to come. If you haven't went Doorless on your XJ yet, look at the hinges on that. They were done right. Everything else not so much! :D

lol yeahhh. its got quite a bit of ingenuity in it.

Several years ago, I shocked the hell out of Dad. I backed my Cherokee into his shop, and an hour later, without using any power or air tools, I had the front axle sitting on jack stands in front of it.

must have been the same guy that I bought the Red Rocket off of.....he was toast.

Not too bad considering I was still able to drive to the campground under its own power in rear wheel drive only......

Dang Brian! Put some heavy weight oil in it and run with it. :worship:

You going to have the rig ready for redbird? I'm thinking that will be my first run in my new junk.

I have a line on some 35's GY MTR's 2 of them are 75% and the old style. The other 2 are the new style MTR and "nearly new". There is also a spare old style MTR. I've talked them down to 500 for the set. I have to drive 3 1/2 hours to pick them up. I'm hoping to get better pics of them tonight but it may not be till tomorrow. I think they are worth it as there is nothing worth looking at in my area. So would you guys run the old style GY MTR's on the front/back of a rig with a new pair of MTR's on the front/rear of the rear?
