9/11 I was a junior. I went to a career center for construction trades and it started interrupting the radio on the bus I rode to get there. Our instructor was talking about it and using the poster on the wall of the WTC as a diagram.

Princess Diana...I was laying on my Aunt's couch half passed out during SNL and got confused as hell wondering if it was part of the show or an actual interruption.
 
Hmmm...

Challanger I was sitting in a conference deciding how to implement high speed internet over cable, and if we would ever make money doing it.

9-11 I was launching a new insurance plan to my employees.

9/11/01 - Driving to work, heading around O'Hare. The commute home that night was very strange, not a plane in the sky (or for the next couple.)

Challenger - As I was walking into the EERC Batch Station at MTU that morning, a friend of mine said "Hey, the Shuttle just blew up." "Bulls....." and I kept walking. The conference room down there was packed that afternoon.

The pressure regulater in the pump may have stuck building too much line pressure. If it popped the plug out of the convertor then it may have balooned the convertor also.

You may also check crankshaft endplay and make sure it hasnt wore the thrust bearing out of the engine.
When the convertor swells it pushes the cranshaft forward wiping the oil off the thrust bearing.

Towing it probably didnt do anything it was probably going bad anyway.

Also a plugged trans cooler could have caused it to swell the convertor.
 
Challenger: Was still two seperate cells.
9/11: I was a wee little 7th grader. The school didnt even let us know about it, just sent a letter home to our parents. Still remember when I my mom told me what had happened right as I got off the bus.

I guess so man. That is something I really dislike now that I look back on it. I would have liked to been able to expirience such a world changing event a little better than that. :smoker:

The way I look at it, it was never proven therefore, I can not, in good conscience, discredit him in anyway because of his allegations. He was an amazing performer.

That is the way I look at it. Only two people know if it was true, him and God. If it was true, he had to face potential judgment for it.*

*possibly a third (potential victim)

9/11... my last day of work at Express Air Freight.. I was on my way to O'Hare with three skids of aluminum wheels headed for Germany. Alot of folks in that industry lost their jobs that day. No air cargo moved for three days.. and the rules changed costing alot more cargo to go other ways.

I don't think it has to be black and white. Of course the early, musically-talented Jackson was a great performer. At the same time the late and not-so-great Jackson was off of his rocker and while he may or may not have done anything actually illegal, he was creepy at best. Some would say misunderstood, I'm gonna go with creepy. Just sayin'.


In other news, I finally have my house cleaned up and I've gotten ahold of a realtor, so hopefully I can get this thing listed and have it sold soon. Have my eye on a couple acres and a house south of town and my goal would be to have a 40x60' barn up before winter. We can always dream right... oh and this isn't FlexdXJ-style newsworthiness, no need to call your relatives or anything crazy like that...

when 9/11 happened i was in 7th grade class and they told us that there was a plane crash and it was nothing to worry about. that was it. wasnt until that night when dad got home that i actually found out what happened.

when princess dianna died i was alittle kid and had no idea who she was. i just remember being pissed becasue mom wouldnt let me watch home improvement that night.

when michal jackson died i was drunk on the porch of my buddys house trying to catch fireflys.
