Important

Not for free, but by the time you get another axle set up the way a stock 14b comes you would still be money ahead to just get a 14b......I can get them from the pick and pull down here for $56.

Do you wanna shave it for me for free? :D My welding skills and little harbor frieght welder probably aren't up to the job for that one

That's what she said!

I've wondered why the 10.25 isn't a little more popular since they're fairly easy to find and lockers/gears seem to be available. I just remembered this list of axles by strength though, maybe it will give you some insight.

Heard this a lot recently. I've considered running a 10.25 in the next jeep if I ever get around to building it. Only reason I wouldn't run a 10.25 is because they are boat anchors, ring gear is way bigger than needed and the housing hangs low as a result.

hi there jeepers, been spraying the pb blaster all week, hoping the bolts come right out for the seats on the junker. plan this weekend will be to do homework all night Friday, put studs and drywall up in the basement Saturday, get drunk Saturday night at a buddies house, and pull the seats and carpet out of the junker jeep Sunday. if everything works out i will be happy, if one thing works out it will be normal.

trading my D60/Sterling 10.25 combo for a new custom built flat bed and $250. That is the same as getting $1750 out of the axles...and I only have $500 in the whole truck that they are under...so it is a good deal except that I won't have a D60 anymore....but there are always old farm trucks around these oparts getting junked, so I will find another. I will also scrap the truck after axles are pulled and get a couple hundo out of it.

I have about 30 axles out of ford windstars, there all rusty and cracked

I wont be running competitively Rev, just for fun. There are guys out there who've been beating on some of their cars for well over ten years. If I keep it on the track i'll be ok. Last time out there I saw a 90k BMW M coupe spin into the cornfield and almost hit some irrigation equipment. That dude was on edge for a few minutes after that and the car was muddier than my jeep!

I love watching the solo races. I went to the Terre Haute race a few years ago and took some pictures.

should sell em to ricers as "adjustable camber axles"

I will never understand some people. See so many ratty, dented, dirty mid 90s minivans around here... with bling rims and low profile tires on them. Sometimes they even only have one axle worth of bling rims and the other axle is rollin' donut spares or stock tires/rims.

If i can find another festiva im doing that race...

with scrap at an all time high, I would sell those cracked axles and cash that junk in! :repair:

That WAS the plan. till the GM told this scrap guy he could take them, i came in one day and there was about 15-25 missing
i handle the warranty, they should have asked, i think they went right to my manager. they ant getting there hands on my aluminum or converters though :D

and the metric lug pattern.

My mech fan is gone only cuz my Jeep is kinda tweeked and there's no room for it. My aux elec does most/all of the cooling. My now 'aux' elec fan does very little w no shroud. Both are now switched.
