Got home and the power was out, came on 6 hours later.

Transfer case is soooo pissed, its now popping in real wheel drive as well.......
 
we had some icy roads for a while going home.
really only one lane was safe to drive in.

back to a full week of work!

Brian and I were lucky.

Smooth sailing and just 5 hrs with a food and fuel break.

Gonna be nice sleeping in a bed instead of the back of the jeep
 
We got home about 6ish, I've gone and picked up the dogs. Looking forward to a decent shower sans flip flops and sleeping in a bed that's not 18" from a fiberglass roof.

Josh was expecting to get home around 9 last I talked to him.
 
BOB what time did you guys head out. We didnt get on the road till 11 and the roads where all clear glad we slept in and missed the ice.
 
I rolled out of Attica at 0630 this morning. The roads weren't bad immediately outside of Attica, but US41 got progressively worse as I got farther north, turning into a sheet of glazed ice. It started to marginally improve coming into Hammond, and within 10 miles of heading west on 30, the roads started to dry out. I had dry roads until 10 miles from home.

1,100 miles since Friday morning at 0800. Right close to 14.5 mpg.
 
I got home around 1:30 today. Got the jeep unpacked and got a shower and took a nap. Ive got some fender trimming and straightening to do and some other small things to take car of. Ill start on that this week. Im ready for next years already.
 
all day long...the only reason it has not been to the last 2 winterfest is because i have to custom build tow hook up front and i have not done that just yet.

plans for this summer are 4:56 gears and rear ture trac locker
 
Sittin' here drinkin' my 3rd cup of joe just relaxing and watching some tv. Sure glad I was thinking ahead when I took today off to recover from WF.

I might even unpack some.

Got home last night around 4pm. Unloaded all our crap til about 7pm. Nothing is really put away and may not be til the end of the weekd. Had already taken last night off from work. Picked up some part time today to help pay off Winterfest. Also gives me all day of being paid part time to get caught up on the internet and other things caught up. I did have to clean up the baby jeep to drive to the part time today because I had to drop the company car off for service last night.

I know you're going to get a ton of pics and vids just from the looks of what's been posted. I've got a bunch of stills and a 12 min vid of the wedding. I'll try and have it burnt as a DVD.

I Didn't have any coffee this morning at the house, so i had to drink the crap they have at work
 
To pick a nit.... a TrueTrac is not a locker, it's a gear driven limited slip. It's a well built device for it's purpose.
