Just got home from the Hospital and my uncle is gonna pull through it looks like. They used the paddles on him twice but now he is stable and has his "DAMN TURKEY SANDWICH" so he's all good.

I had a car listed in the paper one time, long before Craig's List and the internet. I had it listed for $2500, a guy came and looked at it, offered me $2200. I took it, he left to get cash, another guy shows up while he was gone and offers me $2000, I kept telling him it is sold for $2200, but he kept persisting by telling me everything that was wrong with it.
He was still here when the first guy showed back up with the cash, and started telling him every thing he saw wrong with the car. I told the guy that he needed to leave and if he f'ed up this sale I wouldn't sell him the car at any price and would kick his ass!

I would have had him removed from the property right from the point where he couldn't understand that it wasn't for sale any longer.

here she is. now to get to work on it and install a brake controller in the Ram
it needs new latches on the front, I didn't trust the latches that were on it so I used a strap to insure it wouldn't fly up.
I also need to build a suitable 'platform' for it to set on to clear the roof of the truck.
it needs to have some work to the bunk area, simple replacement of some wood.
and a few other little things.

So, I can't believe I haven't said anything about this earlier. As of New Year's Eve...I am a non-smoker. I'm still a big fan of cigars and hookah, but cigarettes are out of the diet, although my alcohol intake has probably tripled:cheers:
And before anyone asks "New year's resolution?" No, it wasn't. I had asked Meganne if she wanted to quit smoking when we moved in together. She was unsure, but then she took the pregnancy test and, despite our studying, she failed. :gee: Kidding, I'm thrilled to be a father. Anyway, She quit right away and I kept with my plan and quit when we moved in together. So as of right now, I haven't had a cigarette in 46 days.
And if you haven't seen on teh facebooks, we're having a boy and he will be named Harrison Jakeb.

that's sweet man. it's not an easy task. it's easier when you have someone to be a quitter with you. I wish I could/wanted to quit chewing.

I think I just picked up one from my local hardware store. It was like $25 if I remember correctly it was basically just a "step-down" drill bit. I used it once, on both knuckles and the pitman arm. It was basically useless after that.

I have the V8 ZJ tie rod pulled from a salvage yard... I just glanced at the goferit site, and that looks like that's what I want. Although, I'm technically not using the "stock" tie rod ends since they're the beefier ones from the V8 ZJ...:dunno:
Edit: I guess if they sell it to flip the stock tie rod, and the ZJ tie rod would fit the stock locations without knuckle modification - by transitive properties, I don't need to worry about any other mods. I'll be placing that order shortly. Thanks, Hale! I buy you a beer at WF.

At any rate, glad you got it figured out. The V8 ZJ set up is a good choice, I think you'll be happy with it.

I can not find a place that can get the roof vent for my camper. They claim it is a special size (I have heard that before! ) I may have to cut a bigger opening for one and get a 14x14 since that is supposed to be the common size...did not really want "extra" work at this point, but I guess I can manage.
