Here in TH, they are calling for freezing rain starting tomorrow, then ice Tuesday, then snow Wednesday.... I like snow, hate ice. Already planning on bringing stuff to stay a day or two at work just in case.

Calling for 12+ here. :(

Winter can be done anytime.

Yep... what doesn't get you is gonna land on us... snow at my apartment is 2 feet deep after a few days of 40 degree temps, heavy as hell, and very solid. At the house it is even deeper.

Roof work is basically halted till it all melts. I gave up after several weeks straight of losing an entire day per weekend just hauling the ladder around, digging paths in the yard, and nearly being avalanched off the ladder while clearing the roof.

Can we have warm weather soon? Please?

we were in NYC the day before you guys got that last foot of snow. It would have been kinda fun playing in the snow in the city.. :D We were running from it all the way home.

rigged up a blade on the front of one of the ATV's this weekend...works pretty slick. We are supposed to get 8-14" (huge gap, I know) of snow mixed with the ice begining this afternoon. We had to work on the auto feeders last night in the hog barns and we cleared all the remaining snow out of the feed bin loading areas so they can still get in and top off all the units. When we hear ice is coming, it is all hands on deck around here. If we loose power to the barns it is 4800 head of hogs that can go down.....that is catastrophic in the farming biz. We have PTO generators that hook to the tractors that will light up a small village...maybe they should have a 110 outlet on them for a nacho machine?? :D

where exactly did you break down?

For me it started right when I came up that looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong uphill going into NY from PA (would have been a long downhill for you) and I ended up coming to a halt somewhere between exits 4 and 5, iirc.

and all the beer Brad can drink....

I made good on that promise. We had about 6 or 7 people around, so there was a lot of standing around and drinking. I'm sure Aaron is just glad we got it done, finally! I think the lift turned out way better than any of us thought, even with a lot of cursing the front leaf bolts and some angle grinder work.

Spending a weekend with friends, drinking, and working on a Jeep. Can't get too much better than that. Wait, when's Winterfest? :D

18 degrees here this morning, with a couple of inches of light fluff. And *VERY* greasy roads. If I leave at 0645, I can usually be in the office by 0730. This morning, I left at 0645, and walked into the building at 0820. It's supposed to snow through 0600 tomorrow morning.

Personally, I'd be much happier if it was 10 degrees colder.

I was happier than a midget in a room full of hot women without panties on! :D

Here's how she turned out for those who haven't seen it on the facebooks:

Still awake...another hour and a half to go...

then sleep for 4 or so hours and work another 17 of 19 hours in a row...unless the snow hits tonights and delays or cancels school tomorrow...
